Okay, this is old. After seeing the patch that was released for multiplayer, my friends and I decided to give this game another shot. This is awesome, we can build stuff now. Problem: x turns in, the game crashes. Please, please! I want to like this game. I loved other releases from Stardock. We still play SoaSE and DemiGod. What happened here?
My friend and I have each purchased a copy of this game so we can play together. We have patched to the most recent version. We can create and join the game, but we cannot build any buildings, such as a Study or a workshop. What are we doing wrong?
Ok, SoaSE is not blocked by my firewall, I just purchased the expansion and ran the updates, I still cannot login to play the game from the ICO login. It keeps telling me that I have dcED from the server. Any other suggestions?
I am running it on a laptop bought in January 2007, and it runs pretty good. Javen't really had any issues. If you are purchasing a new laptop besure to get a video card with on board RAM (shared RAM can cause slow down). Stay away from the Intel graphics cards, my friend's lappy struggles running SoaSE.
