Hey all a Stardock. I haven't posted for a while, but I am a forum stalker. I bought Elemental back in the day to gain access to the early alpha/beta or whatever you call it. In short, I didn't expect a expansion pretty much free from your company. You didn't have to, but you did. I haven't played it yet, as it's still installing, but I am looking forward to it.

I'm still working through the campaign, which has some fun gameplay mechanics, but I have no idea what is going on. Overall story yes, but why I'm heading over to another planet to do something? I don't really know. It's fun, but I feel disconnected, and I don't care about the characters. (Bioware are first to make me care about the story and characters in a long time. E.g. Dragon Age, Mass Effect... Oh, and Valves: Half-life 2 is King in that regard.) All this time to develop and no

Hello Von.. I brought the LE from Stardock directly.. (Pre-purchase.) I just got home today and my wife put it on my PC table (It's just arrived). I'm a very happy lad. I figured if I just brought it from Stardock themselves, it would be just as expensive/cheaper than buying from EB...

Lady Irane does look alright above, but def not up to par with even Galciv yet.. Anyone else scared?
Nope. There is something about this game that makes me want to go back and play it. :) I personally really like what I see, and when i first saw the concept of this game a l

I like the idea of researching different formations and/or special abbilities that your troops can have in tatical battles. E.G. Charge skills: bonus on the first attach.. mounts give you a charge bonus... that sort of thing. :)

Might be from my end, but I can't seem to log into Reactor to start the game. I get this error on the loading screen. Failed to download Data file. Please make sure your connected to in the internet, have signed into impulse, and that no firewall or anti-virus program is blocking Elemental. After trying to log into rector with my current account, it gives me this error within a POP-UP. One or more errors where found in the Secure Sockets

I love Pen Tablets... I use my Wacom Cintiq almost every day.. but now I'm thinking of taking my tablet and using it with my favourite hobby.... gaming. Has anyone else tried this? I think it would work well with strategy games, but I don't know about FPS.

Actually the further I got into the game the less mana I had... couldn't cast anything.. (I lost a few battles.) I had no Idea how to regenerate them. I think I got down to 5 mana in total... when I started the game with 15 or so.... Glad this was brought up.

Spell Name: Traveler's Portal Strategic Arcane Knowledge: 10 10 (each Gate) Air, Earth Spellcaster can create 2 portals. (Entry and Exit) Able to create quick transportation portals for armies to move quickly around the map. What Spell Book would it be part of? Mastery? To keep the portals open, it might be good to cap the amount of mana players can pool. (E.G. A single portal deducts 5% off max mana

Ohh... and I'm very interested seeing what the siege battles will be like... since with this build you can create battering rams and that sort of thing...

Played it and really enjoyed it. I think the game becomes bigger the longer you play. It starts off simple, but what really did it for me was training up a few companies of troops, and sticking my sovereign in that group and running around the map with them. That was great. Knowing that I could stick in a few creatures in that army within the final build made me smile. (Personally I've always wanted to see a Total War Fantasy series.) Once all the elements are in the game I ca

Hey Sareln and SavageBananaMan34. Yea, that's where I read it. Thanks for the feed back. Sarein's reply makes sense.... thanks for clearing that up. I do remember Frogboy speaking against DLC's for this game but after reading the development timetable I was a little confused.

I've noticed on a previous post on development that Quest and Monster Packs will be sold post release. Is there anymore information about these products that could be discussed from Stardock? E.G. What kind of quests... how many monsters.... General Stuff Really. Thanks.. and keep up the good work...

Lovin' what I'm seeing..... Thanks for that video post Brad... When it comes to artwork though.. I do feel for the art team who doing their best, but can't please everyone... I woke up this morning thinking to myself I might have to scrap 2 weeks of illustrative work.. So I really feel like I'm in the grind right now. I for one support their illustrative theme... this game is designed to have legs and last a while and they are doing that well.
I feel it is slowly moving to the extent that having a facebook or twitter account is almost a compulsory must. I don't know if I feel comfortable about that. Eh, not really, I don't have either and I've never had any issues.
I guess your right, maybe I'm thinking bout this way to much. 2 things you can't disagree with though. 1. It is becoming a major information farm with millions o

I've got a facebook account and I check it most days. At first when I signed up I was excited to see all the people from my school on-line and to see how their lives have unfolded over the last 15 years or so. Now I get to see their scores from their latest farmville round, check out the groups they have joined and watch them protest digitally with them all with a simple click. I still don't know if all these groups are effective or not. In short, what I thought would be harmle

Agreed that these kind of devices will take a large market share... I just don't want Apple to be dominant.. but I think it might be a little to late for that now. I guess I just don't like their company philosophy at all.. actually I think I just don't agree with it. It's probably why I can't get into any of their products.

My issue with the whole thing is distribution rights. For example, I've wanted at one stage to buy "the witcher" from impulse. But as I have found a lot with D2D and impulse, the title is restricted to only the US and Canadian purchasers. So I brought a hard copy of it from my local EB store. I've found that a lot with so many games. E.G. When Civ 4 was going for $10 at D2D I wanted to buy it, was it resticted to overseas only. Steam doesn't seem to have this issue. If I see the

I'm not to worried about it personally. If it's a model that works for some poeple, good on them. I know for a fact that not everyone will be after this service. There will always be people like you and me who enjoy the PC platform in all it's flexibility, and others just want to switch on a console and play. I think onlive will affect console players more than PC players, and be honest, I don't think it's a platform that can comfortably give a great gameing experience to every genre of
