I just came back to the game after a long break and as the dead I am running a beastmaster ruler. Every time I tell one of my creatures to go to any of my cities they disappear from the game. I litterally can't move any creatures i've tamed without walking them to the city without them disappearing. This obviously puts a serious cramp on playing the game... did anyone play test the changes? Please fix this bug.

I've now started playing for about 1/2 an hour and I know I wont touch it again until the next round of changes. Let me provide feedback about how bad things are getting. Alpha Striking is completely and utterly OUT OF CONTROL! This is why I won't be playing this version of the beta again. The first move by the cpu in every encounter is to alpha strike one or two of my units. It has been doing this for a long time however its about

I decided to build nothign but pioneers to start a game just 30 minutes ago. I expanded and maybe 20-25 turns elapsed. During this time I think I was able to build 3-4 pioneers and I was working on a monument. I ran into the kraxis. I went directly for the first city I saw and it had 77 population vs my 63, it had approximately 8 buildings built in it. It became very obvious to me that the computer is given a major advantage over me and i'm playing on easy ffs. Oh it gets better. The

Monsters are coming from near and far to attack my cities. I have shrill lords from "Quest" (you know, the green tags) monster zones coming 20 squares away to attack my outposts and cities. They are VERY FAR from home. THe best part is, they just ignore the computer player (Magnars) city that borders the damn quest area as the computer loves building cities on the green borders of quest areas. I am 99% convinced that this inexplicable monster behaviour has to deal with the players rev

I am not sure what triggers this but as my game progresses into the later stages I am more and more frequently getting into combat where I litterally slow down to one tenth of a frame per second. Every animation takes forever. Its unplayable when this happens. It just happens at random when entering tactical combat. My only alternative is to auto resolve the combat, in which the very bottom unit in the summary list takes all the damage. If I auto played it it would

I've played the game quite a bit during this beta over many builds. I have a little experience with some of the aspects of the game. I have experimented with jacking my tax rate up and its not even a pheasible way to play the game. The big point is that the AI obviously isn't doing that or else they wouldnt be able ot build so much. Just last night I fired up the game again and the AI sat down a city right next to a monster den (which ignored it) but the AI starting city popul

Today I played a normal difficulty game vs 3 other computer players. From the moment I met my first empire we were at war and it hasn't stopped since then. I built all of 3 cities (because I had no other places to build any) before I got to war. By the time I met my first empire my rating was 19, his rating was 68. He immediately declared war on me. Since then I have met a 2nd empire and their rating is more than 3x my rating at all times. They are teching faster than I am, I can

Early Game: Scouts - These units might as well be removed from the game because they are completely worthless at exploration. Given the amount of monsters in the world right off the bat, they make it approximately 2-5 turns before they are anihilated. What a complete waste. They need to be immune to attack by wandering monsters (an army composed only of 1 scout). Exploration - I just started a game and I realized, I can basically not do much without getting anih

Just installed the new beta build and got irked so badly that i'm here on the forums and the game is off within the first 10 turns no less. I just started a new game and on a medium map Verga started no less than 10 squares away from me. Thats not the problem per se, however I proceeded to watch him B-Line and beat me to 4 goodie boxes and kill one of my possible recruits right in front of me. He even split up his 2nd general/companion to take a 5th goodie box from me. To make mat

I'll try and keep this fairly organized. This is all based on a few recent campaigns I have tried since .86 was released. Monster Dens - These are the caves/lairs that some creatures are guarding on the map. I have found that they like to come out of their den, usually to attack me when I end my turn too close. After that their treasure is exposed and free to take as they rarely move back on top of it. This seems like a bad idea for them to move at all. Fr
