Hello All, I am getting a new computer. My question is, after I install steam onto it, will all my games be there in my library? And do I just re-install? I have 5 installed and play Legendary Heroes and CIV 5 daily. Thanks for your help. Basher-
I kind of feel the same way. I love CIV 5 and have hundreds of hours playing it, and still play on a regular basis. But I too find myself playing tug and pull in trying to decide which one to play first, LH or CIV 5. They are both great games and fun to play. If I don't get and hour in of each of them first thing in the morning with a good cup of coffee, my day is already off to a bad start. I wish I could "ctrl n" that [e digicons][/e]
Currenty have a game in progress 1.2. AI appears to be smarter/more aggressive. I did have trouble holding onto my cities the first 100 turns or so. Also I have slowed down my pace, meaning I take more time to analyze city improvements, Sov. level ups and just about everything else. I don't feel I have to hurry up so much to keep up with the AI. This is more enjoyable (at least for me). Will post more on my current game a little later. Thanks. basher- FE hours 276.30
I like making decisions; it's what I do. [e digicons]:P[/e] And I like this game. [e digicons][/e] Basher-
Well, here is my basic strategy I use at the start of just about any sandbox game: 1. Settle early (near shards if possible) 2. Train 2 pioneers immediately (for new cities) 3. Build monument in first city for town ZOC 4. Start exploring around you new found city (look for land to settle new cities [ very important ], at least 3 more) 5. Grab all goodie </s
This is great...Thanks so much [e digicons][/e] ( I love reading and love the game) Basher-
Am I the only one that finds the Fire Elemental sound really cool? Great Job Stardock! Sound can play such a vital role in todays games. Basher
Quoting scifi1950, reply 17 I think Lord Xia has hit the nail on the head. I may not be as hardcore as some of the guys in the Beta, but I've been playing these kind of games for a long time and IMHO FE is no Civ V. I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
It's a good thing, as time will tell, meaning they are both great games. They both have
Sounds like maybe there was a treaty already in place
Thank you all so much from the Keystone State - Pennsylvania [e digicons]:star:[/e] All your hard work is so greatly appreciated!! I am really enjoying your game! Thanks again Basher
there is no where on the settlement HUD or on the Detail screen that tells you which type the city is I believe the city icon changes shape, ie for fortress the icon changes to a shield shape in the hud.
Well, I don't know anything about modding, but I find myslef concentrating on Magic. I played WOM for a while but really could not get into it a whole lot. So far I am really liking Fallen Enchantress. Since this beta came along I have to make a decision now what to play; Civ V or FE. By the way, good game-play videos on You Tube. Basher
Thanks!
What are the steps for posting screen shot? thanks
Ok, I'll attempt.
I loaded up a previous save and they were completely gone and would not re-appear. Have not tried a new game yet however.
I don't see the AI borders any more either with 1.07 and I have checked and unchecked the disable outlines feature in the options menu numerous times. Am I missing something some where else?
Ok, I'm sold!!!! (for about the 100th time now)[e digicons][/e] A huge thanks to Brad and Team Stardock!! I feel like flying all the way from Pennsylvania to Michigan to give gratitude/thanks for all your professionalism and courtesy Stardock has shown towards this community and the public in general.
