I look forward to the continually evolving and improved game play from Elemental. I also look forward to the first free expansion for me! Although I think I desvere it, for the initial release was very rocky. Here is to picking oursevles back up, dusting off our knees, and get going again! We all have had our moment to be mad, sad, regretful about the initial release of Elemental, but now we are done need to move on! The future is bright, and I for one am glad we are mo

It seems to me that the very nature of corperations is creative destruction. They create and and destroy, they love you until until you don't serve the corperation's purposes anymore, then they spit you out. There are many many people who have lost jobs becuse they corperation cannot survive if these people stay on. It is sad, but the nature of capitolism, thus not unexpected that Stardock has had to follow suit with the rest of Counrty. I am shocked that is

Or maybe they starved in their beds, I didn't check... How's your food supply? Ciao, Klaus
Food is great i have like 16.5 positive food income.
Hello, I have a bug where I had to damaged groups of 8 guards that I had in town resting. I saved the game, and came back and although the graphic shows 8 in the group the hitpoints reflect only one dude. When I hit next turn the icon and the graphic turn into one guy instead of the my group of 8. Has anyone else had this issue?
Sorry for being unclear; what I had meant was that training in the manner you described it (select children that you want to be knights, they then train, join the town watch, and eventually get the chance to be knights on the condition that they do well in a tournament) would be unnecessarily complex. I misunderstood your point.
no worries i wasn't very clear in my explanation. I think it would be a better system if you could have attackers train as much as you ha
a knight had become completely useless once he was tipped over, since he couldn't get up by himself.
need to get out the concussion blasts to knock those pesky guys over!
Imagination is what really draws us into games and the little details are the fuel. I mentioned that the engineers each have a coil of rope. Imagine what they could do with that. Rappel down a wall to escape a burning tower. Replace the bowstring on a damaged bolt thrower. Rig a tent wit
g00berhead: aside from the idea of gold armor (gold is quite possibly one of the worst metals for armor that isn't mercury)
You are correct gold armor is bad option that was the point I was trying to make. Thank you for understanding.... that is why you would probably choose to trade for iron with another faction. That would bring on more interesting aspects of starting conflicts if you rely on your enemy to supply you with iron to make weapons it
nice description! I hope the battles will feel like this in game. Playing GalCiv2 I reflect on games and the stories of how events turned out are quite exciting and interesting at least in my head they are!
Hallo, I envision an economy run somewhat like Dawrf Fortress... Example, You start with no way to make any kind of armor. You must mine until you run into raw materials that can be refined into metal steel or iron or whatever. Then you must have a someway to heat the forges to melt down the iron ore. After that you need someone who can create the armor, weapon, tradeable good. Now lets say you run into gold and cannot find any iron or raw materials to
So perhaps there needs to be catagories of things to take into consideration. For example: one catagory is of course is the equipment. One is the person. One is group formation. One is environmental... the list can go on To speak about combat in general terms seems like trying to stuff a turkey into a chicken.... yea nice visual i know, but we should not try to tackle everything all at once. I think that would be a good start for the exellent suggestions flow
Armour Type Effectivness (None / Poor / Average / Good / Superior) vs Damage Type; Crush Cut Pierce Slash Plate Superior Superior Superior Superior
I would just like state that a crushing blow is very hard to block using armor in almost any type of armor. Although, armor of this type may spread the force of a crushing blow over a larger area it is still going to be a sever hit. Think about being hit in the leg with. lets say
