I think its going to reach a point when something breaks. Either companies realize that DRM is bad, or the pc gaming industry falls apart. Take the amazon ratings for example, thousands of 1-star reviews because of drm. That definitly hurts sales. If the big publishers continue to strain developers, nobody's going to want to make games, shutting down the industry, save for a few indies.

I agree entirelly with ALL of Frogboy's points. I am really really *really* looking forward to having only x64-bit os's from now on. This way devs can focus on that, and let me use all 4 of my cores, and all 8gigs of my ram. The future! [e digicons]:borg:[/e] [e digicons]:cylon:[/e]
You're forgetting that this is far into the future. The size difference between a modern bomber and a carrier isn't that much, but the difference between a bomber and a cap ship in Sins is quite large (or at least, it should be if scale was represented correctly in-game). It's easy to imagine a group of bombers taking down a carrier in real life (partly because it's happened), but imagine 4 bombers trying t

Was this intended (waiting for that side's specialists to reach the planet) or is it really a bug?
I thnk its a bug, because most people queue up planet upgrades, etc. fairly fast; because that's what the situation demands. making them wait is just a detrement.
Hey DANMAN, could you incorporate some higher fleet counts into 2.0? Could you tweak the default small, medium, and large fleet sizes so that medium would max out at 2k and large could go to 3 or 4k? I don't know how to do it myself, so i ask
Its very simple. Once D comes out, I'll post the modified version if you want. Its just changing a few numbers.

Both my computer and my laptop are patched to 1.095, i'm unable to play a lan game through them. Each can host individally, but when I'm on my laptop and try to connect to the computer's game (and vice-versa) I get the "Game Data differs from host" error. I have no mods in the mod's directory, and I haven't changed any files. I'm positive both are patched properly, as all the 1.095 changes are apparent. (like the # of waves shown on the infocards)
