Does this mod work for 1.05?
yep
UEF Soldier
wut. :NOTSURE: and i'm looking forward to this mod as well.
/drools :CONGRAT: that's epic. keep it up! :D
OMG!!! Just played a 2hr. game with my bro, and its still going on, but man o man danman! Nevermind about the pirate nerf, with a proper fleet, it was easy. I understand how you made them, and they are actually a worth opponent now. :D I played as TEC, my bro as Atlantian. it was a large multi. EPIC. :CONGRAT: The atlantians are really balanced, because they weren't impossible to defeat, but also pretty powerful. :D I have to say, that was great
/bump. still can't wait for the kol beam of death 7.0!!! ;)
it was great so far, but one thing: the pirate base is way to powerful! I sent in my lv. 5 kol, and 3 cobalts, to just scope out the pirate's strength. my cobalts died in 5 sec., my kol was stuck, by some pirate ability, and got owned completely. I'm not sure if this is the way you wanted it, as i recall you saying that the normal races won't be able to compare against the new races, and you buffed the pirates to give the new races a challenge. but yeah, my flagship was owned.
AMAZING!!! :CONGRAT:
can't wait for version 2! :D
@cmdrleeadama, danman is working on fixing the minidumps, and will put up a fixed version soon. just be patient. :) @Danman, 1.03 was a big jump from 1.02, and crashes are to be expected. don't worry, we all support you 100% :D
umm, 20 min. into it, as tec, with one normal ai per each race, it mini dumped. the map was a large multi. :( but otherwise, it was great.
WOW!!! downloading now.....
that was ... EPIC. :CONGRAT: Was it me, or did that planet look kinda like Earth? :SNIFF!:
so are the particle forge tools really that good? I can't wait... must hold on.... /drools some more over pictures of mod
UEF SOldier:Don't worry, I hear you. I am attending college on top of working full time, part time business, married, kids, and life in general. So I know that "time" is valuable and very limited. I will try to get 1.3 out as soon as I can.
Ouch dude, and i thought i had a busy life. Wow, you got your work cut out for ya! Amazing how you can spend so much time on this mod, along with all of that! Very impressive. :CONGRAT:
Hey, can't wait till ver 1.3 comes out! Sorry i haven't been online in a while, my grades kinda took a plunge with SoaSE and CoD4, and i've been trying to get them back to A's. But I should slowly get some more free time, with the school year winding down.
I've gotta agree with the general consensus here. I've played a lot of games, and only seen a few girls online. Not one girl in CoD4, 2 in SupCom, and 1 in Star Wars Republic Commando. None are actually really good, and i still pwnzor. But it is fun playing with them. ;p
Happy Birthday! :D
As the orb travels, it expands and then condenses. When it is condensing, it turns purple/pink for a second, then back to blue. Maybe make it a lighter shade of blue? the color it turned was a bit too different from the initial color. Maybe i'm missing something obvious though.
um, why is it 7min. long? the actual thing ends at about 50sec. i liked it, but what's with the purple near the end of the explosion?
release version 2 and i'll give you some karma ;)
lol spam :X no, no missions in Sins. i believe its not supported by the engine.
Exactly that. They seem just like the TEC nukes in way of projectile size/shape/direction. The TEC nukes are cool, don't change them, but the Advent's look just like the TEC's, but with a different color and added glowey effects. Its still cool and all though.
yeah, those code pigeons get me too. some times its the gremlins as well. those sneaky bastards! i saw the updated video, and its AMAZING!!! That had me really excited! I LOVED the TEC one, it was just epic. one thing, make the Advent's a bit different, like maybe a constant beam?

that was an awesome video! one thing, on the marza dreadnought, could you change the firing sequence delay to 1 second more, because in the video, as soon as the first blast would dissipate, the next one would launch. It would be better if there was a second to let the effect sink into the user. ;)
