It has probably been suggested somewhere, but is there a reason why the tax rate should not be managed per city, rather than empire wide?

I haven't had time to actually play since beta 3, so I can't address the big things, but I did want to show up to vote for calling it "Fallen Enchantress" for the reasons already stated. Thanks for all your hard work on this thing!
This may not be a bug as much as a design oversight. Either way, it felt wrong. Around turn 100 I met the Tarth. I'm pretty noob, so I had roughly a 25 kingdom rating. The Tarth had about an 11 kingdom rating. Immediately upon meeting them ( without ever actually entering their territory or engaging in a battle with them ) I went into the diplomacy screen and declared war on them. I then noticed that I could offer to accept their surrender.&nbs
I agree. These targetting problems are super-annoying. It is often very difficult to actually click a target and I find myself rotating the map around just so I can try to click from a different angle. Playing with the grid off is well and good, but when you are trying to plan out future locations of units based on how many moves they have, this isn't really going to be an option...
Assuming that you are interested in RPG / Strategy games (based on the forum in which you are posting and the games you purchased already), here are my suggestions: Final Fantasy Tactics - (If you somehow managed to never play this, you have done yourself a disservice.) Please ignore the goofy translation and steep learning curve. Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen (limited edition) - amazing strategy game, originally for SNES was re-released on PS1. Vagrant Story
