from what I'm reading, the admin on the other thread has said there servers are getting pounded(pirates according to them), and this might be the reason why our game is hanging on the loading screen. I guess there's a server handshake before the menu screen? Not sure. They did say they are aware of the issue and are working on it.

Trying to get into Demigod today and the game keeps freezing when I go to skip past the intro movies and get to the main menu. Anyone else having this issue? I've tried restarting Impulse several times and even re-downloaded the game twice, with the same issue. Any help is much appreciated.
I've been using AVG for years..never had a problem and find it very easy to use. For work, I supported them and picked up the multi license for my business. Bottom line is, 99 percent of it is being a smart end user, knowing what sites you're going to and what you are downloading , as well as being careful with email. Well, there's another HUGE Christmas/Holiday patch released that brings the game up to 2.34 ...it adds an online Armoury for your characters online and a whole host of new stuff and fixes. Is there any word on when Impulse will be implementing the update? I hope soon, as everytime there is a patch, we're unable to play online. I understand this patch needs to come from Ascaron, I just hope we get it quick

anyone? If I launch from Impulse, it directs me to download the patch, but it simply won't patch the game. Is anyone else having a patching issue? There have to be others that bought the game though Impulse.... *** After reading the official forums, seems like everyone with a DD version is wating for a specific patch release. Holding tight.
Right now, there was just a Sacred 2 patch released(the first one I believe for North America since release), but it doesn't seem to be compatible with the Impulse version of Sacred 2.
