Okay, so at some point I somehow pulled up a shopkeeper menu (by accident) which offered me a bunch of equipment that I could buy. I've never been able to do it again on purpose. I'm guessing that this is what the Keyboard Shortcut sheet calls "Unit Shop" (hit S) but hitting S does nothing. I've tried it in towns, in the field, with my Sov active, with some random dude active... nothing. Clearly there is a store out there somewhere that wants to replace my pointy
