Same using latest versions of deskscapes and fences. Although sometimes when I boot windows 8 it lets me move icons, no idea why.

Thanks for the laugh; get over it and over yourselves and either don't use it or launch it when an update is posted. Thats what I do and i rarely have to do that takes less than 5 min to launch/patch/close most of the time. It really isn't a problem and their support is great if there is one from my experience. I'm getting the same error "Sins has detected files from an earlier Entrenchment beta installation. Please uninstall Sins and Entrenchment via Impulse and reinstall both. This is a limitation from earlier betas and will not be an issue with the Entrenchment release or future Sins updates" I completely deleted all files and reinstalled and now they work but that was strange no other update gave that message.

impatient much? Jan 1st lasts for a day when it hits Jan 2nd then it's late. I want the final version too but being impatient never helps.

I also suggest getting a wireless mouse, or mini-mouse, I use them all the time for my laptop; unless you plan on actually playing the game with it on your lap which is ill-advised and uncomfortable for a long game such as this one anyways.

I haven't read all 8 pages but I've read a few posts...anyway For this type of game the speed settings before playing, choice of map size and all are more than adequate to fine tune it to your liking/time allotment, and if they are still too restrictive you can make your own mod or find one that probably "fixes" it for you. I have that card too and I had no sound at all at first, other than the intro vid which was fine, till i alt tabbed and went back;it was in windowed mode, not sure if that was what fixed it. I was just checking forums and went back to the game and suddenly it had sound. *shrug*
