I don't know if this was a fluke or if this quest is broken, but when I just completed the "Alzor's Armor" quest by defeating the defending spiders a message pops up (I think it said that I take the armor). However, I never received any armor. Is this a bug or does my reading comprehension just suck and the message said something like "Poof, the armor disappears. It was merely an illusion." Playing AI Wars: Fleet Command. The AI is tearing through my defenses destroying my bases after overextending myself in a deep strike attack. I don't think I'm going to last too much longer.

I can confirm this. I accidentially stumbled across this as I was demolishing some of my hovels to replace with better housing for the Noble Quarters of my Capital. The population cap does not decrease when houses are destroyed. My town sure must have a lot of homeless people.
And it's $15 on Steam right now. If you don't like Steam, other sites may have similar offers. Edit: offer valid until Thursday midnight. I played quite a bit of HOI2, but man, this series is HARD. Very in-depth and one of the best strategy games I've played, but it's almost too deep for me. They can reason the lack of dedicated servers (which is partially BS, partially anti-piracy), you can reason IW.net (even though it takes the control away from the users, which is my most us PC gamers play on the PC). I bought it off of Amazon. Fast shipping, and they've never done me any wrong. Furthermore, it was the cheapest buy. $47 - $10 off of my next video game purchase = net $37. How could I pass that up?
Should have mine coming in the mail tomorrow. I'm not a huge fan of Gamestop. I've been trying my hardest to avoid all spoilers and trailers for this game. I am ready to unite the armies and slay the Dark Spawn. Too bad I have almost zero time this week to play. I furthermore can't decide who I want to start as... City Elven Mage, Noble Human Rogue, Dwarven Figher? So many choices... and I want to play them all.
Yes, they are attacking the used game sales. They want to prevent Gamestop from selling the used games for $57 while the new game is $60. The publishers/developers see NO money for used game sales, while the retail store is making ALL of it. Now they (theoretically) force the retailers to sell the used for a reasonable price (20 dollars off) or have the buyer grab a new copy. I can't really fault them for this, and think that it is a smart business choice. Ed
I personally adore the graphic style. It's a breath of fresh air. Many games use the same tried and proven style. I'm glad Stardock is going in a different direction. Also, these graphics make it easier to run on any system, which is something that I definitely approve of. </
