dribble is one of the states of water, and is the cause of a significant number of complaints regarding FORCED updating even when you have it set to NOT update. harpo

FE is ok, does NOT need dribble, and is supposed to be getting some of the LH improvements backported to it and has some very interesting mods out for it. LH is good, BUT NEEDS dribble, and the mods are being created(some have been released but are still being worked on) btw I under rate games as I need to be able to breakoff to earn money hope this helps harpo

I am also having issues with the tac map movement potential area indicator system and the extremely PALE(washed out)highlighting, that I have to zoom in to a SINGLE square to see IF it has a highlight therefor that I can move to, and do not remember it being this bad in both WOM & fe, and as far as I know I do not have a significant colour vision issue. harpo

the 'build a city in the old imperium quest' is a WILDLAND that has a single square in it that is a 4/3/0 (from memory) next to a river also near the build location is an earth shard , a elemental lair and has a lot of mountains (usually to the south) with the north having a dark tower a fire shard and and air shard, two troll lairs and two darkling lairs, and after clearing out all the monsters you actually have to get a settler to the 4/3/0 square and SETTLE the square, then you can

I can back the comment that rain of arrows has a randomly occuring delay of a significant amount of time (I have had over a minute delay on an i7 3.4ghz system)reminds me of the sweep attack delays harpo

there IS a spell that kraxis has that can flip a city to them, and eject all stationed units at the same time, but it usually switches the side on the receiving end to automatically declare WAR the spell costs 500 gildar (in lh, but in fe it is 500 prestige). harpo

if another faction queues the bazaar before you can then you will NOT get a chance to build the bazaar. harpo

BUT it is possible to get many lendinghouses, just one per city, in some of my games I have had over 10 lending houses in various cities of mine. harpo

in my latest game( in lh0.51), I got the quest where the reward is the brothers sparus, I had 142 mana going into the quest, chose the 100 mana to heal the mother, got the brothers, and STILL had 142 mana and the brothers sparus at the end of the quest. the text in the quest choicebox suggested that I should have only 42 mana at the end of the quest if Ichose to heal the mother given the 142 mana at the start of the quest. I assume this is eather a BUG or a typo harpo<

napean, I did mention that on xp & win7 that I could go offline, BUT on win8 I could NOT and STILL can't. the_monk, sorry, I did not see your reply, but lh is the only steam game on the comp, and will try this later, but do not really see wht this could do to get the steam window to go to offline mode(and steam does shut itself down before when starting during the attempt to work offline and then get the error, and I usually run games from a shortcut on the desktop, or

a bit of additional info, I have tried the compatability troubleshooter (no success in getting offline mode to work) I then tried giving ALL users/modes full permissions for the steam desktop shortcut (no success) then I tried giving all user permissions to the actual steam.exe in its folder (no success) then I tried logging out and logging back in (note thesetting to save username/pw IS ON) (no success) checked for updates to steam, none, even

ironically, I have played lh on wildlands, which IS one of the maps in the DLC, and no I did not copy the map into the lh folders, it was already there. harpo
