I understood it as well, that you can use a XML editor. I didn't saw any commitment that they will make an own editor for the fractions (especially an own XML editor would not be worth the work).

Very nice :-) The only question which is being raised by myself is how will such a version utilizing many different materials have an impact on FPS compared to a newly made tile based only on one mesh behave? I currently only fear if we have a lot of such tiles onscreen the FPS will drop.

Btw, the non-availability of the retail box in Europe reminds me of the god old times where I imported most of my games for the consoles or PC from US or Japan :-) BUT, my hobby was far more expensive at that time - and I was considered as a Nerd :-).. yeah, yeah, good old days :.)

ad 5: Custom faction creation is currently not in - it was in own of the Beta 3 version. I'm European too. It's a pity that currently there is no real option to get the CE edition (I assume shipping would eat a lot of money) as it would be a real burner to get it. Nevertheless, I will stay with the DD edition - at least this option is available for us Europeans :-)

You can play in different difficulty modes. Taking the easiest mode you have enough time to finish the main goal and moving around. This is how I enjoyed the game mostly.
Try to wait some time. The editors loads alot in the beginning without giving a feedback currently. Try to open either editor and go for a coffee. If its afterwards still black, then there is a serious issue. Stardock is aware of the black screen and they are considering something to give the users a feedback ingame on this :-)

Back to topic: Maybe not the best movie ever as I'm more a fantasy guy, but yep, worth the money spend for the cinema. The only thing which was a bit astonishing myself was that the quality - even it was a digital cinema - was par to my blue-ray / DTS system at home, at least what I see from my BR films I have at home ..
