Why does the pikeman appear twice in the city build list? Is this a bug?

Are these guys meant to be indestructible? You get them down to almost zero hit points and then they regenerate full strength, rendering them unkillable.

Features are cool, but stabilty will make or break this game. I have had crashes on two completely different systems that I have been testing with.
