Holy crap. I had no idea they could get that high. I've had them average out around 50 with one offspring having 65. Obviously I am marrying into the wrong bloodline!

Interesting read, thanks! This time around, however, some industrious individual(s) could make a MoM mod. Thus, hopefully, eliminating the need to push for a whole-MoM remake.

1: AI 2: Performance 3: Diversity in spells or perhaps expanded spells to create more variety be that global or simply within your own kingdom. (I hate to bring up MoM, because that has been done to death, however it did global enchantments really well. From beneficial spells to detrimental ones and the ability to dispel enemy enchantments.)

[e digicons][/e] This candor on a public forum is what separates Stardock from other publishers who would rather hide their head in the sand when it comes to complaints (both valid and trolls). I've enjoyed Elemental in spite of the bugs and I'm sure I'll like it even more when they are gone.

I loved MoM... still do. I got it on the day it released, but do you remember what a buggy mass of potential it was? Even after it was patched some problems persisted and the AI never really had any teeth. I'll probably still be playing it periodically ten years from now, but despite its vaunted status it still had issues. Although, it never got old building up a mighty champion who could smash whole armies and conquer cities all by himself whil

It isn't a place to express your angst, there are plenty of other threads for that. I rather thought the point was a centralized location for all reviews about the game.

I don't really read reviews. I haven't since the early 90s with any regularity. I found too often that I enjoyed a game with low ratings on reviews or on a few occasions didn't like a game with GotY scores. It doesn't mean the reviewers are wrong, but they were obviously not looking at the same qualities I look for in a game. For instance trying to find a reviewer talking about the AI in SC2 for more than one sentence was near impossible. I'm not

Wow, that is incredibly inconsiderate to break a release date. It is unfortunate you have to put up with crap like that just because you are an indie company. I can only imagine what would happen to the store that broke a street date for something like SC2. Bliz might just devour them whole. What about a time limit on tactical battles like Sword of the Stars? I know SotS was designed with a time limit in mind so it may not be feasible in Elemental, but any battle that ran over the time limit was fought in the next turn. Players who had the technology could watch allied or nearby battles, too. It kept the turns moving quickly and yet never forced anyone to go with the somewhat questionable auto-resolve unless the outcome was clear. I

They don't want to be heckled by someone pointing out an idea earlier in the development of the game and taking that as commandments written in stone. What is written in a development journal are not promises of what will be and assuming they are is silly. It is unfortunate you are upset, but perhaps in the

Just look at the time multiplayer got in the beta compared to balancing single player. It isn't that big of a stretch for that to suggest where their focus is. Brad Wardell: Elemental requires you still have internet access; you do have to have an account [and sign in] to play multiplayer. I understand that it is not minor to you, but in the grand scheme of the game, it is not a critical feature. ::shrug:: Yes, they have. But let's get this straight.
