im not familiar with battlefleet gothic, please tell me that theres some sort of witch hunter ships also, and that its not just a bunch of generic imperium fleets and a few space marine barges here and there? I must have a lovely space nun for it to feel authentic ;_;

Remove missions as they currently are. Set all non-allies to neutral, not hostile, unless you are playing in a locked team game. Keep the ability for the ai to request resources, with a standing gain if you give them, or a standing loss if you dont, if you are in very good standing you get more of a gain for giving them than you get of a loss for not giving them. Add in the ability to gain some standing by giving resources even if the ai is not asking for them. <br
I use the pirates to level my capital ships up while the enemy waste money sending me free exp 0_0 Though i 'do' agree that pirates are an important part of the games strategy, and that learning how to interact with them is important. I usually do buy them off the first couple attacks while im getting things set up, for example.
It's worth mentioning that I've seen this sentiment echoed on numerous gaming forums over the net. Many people have repeatedly reacted very favorably to Stardock and now Ironclad for taking this stance. I don't know how badly, if at all, piracy impacted GalCiv2 sales more or less than other PC games, or how its impacting Sins, but I do know that the goodwill you're building is an asset that few other gaming companies have. You can move ships on the z axis? What button do i push? 0_o
get the artists working on portraits=p Female TEC, and some male advent. And some more vasari. Whos to say that some of the portraits we already have are not female? =p This of course is not needed if you are wanting to have customizable portraits and icons that can be uploaded in multiplayer. Then by all means.. do that instead=P Make it so you can look anyones buildings/structures in replay mode to see what they are building-producing. Currently you can see that a planet is d
But think about it this way. It was a 3 way, the third player died. Now it's you and him. You're Vasari and he's Advent. You have the ship advantage but he has combos. Therefor you might want to duke it out. You're using your tricks and he's using his. The issue is he has more combo ships than you have your ships, his air is better ect. You have to focus on Phase Missiles, shield disruptor thingies and phasing them out. Both of you are about equal. But he has more uni
A solution i posted in another thread was having a % chance to disable a non allied ship that tries to jump out of a system with a PJI. The problem with increasing the time they work for is that in some situation it will be just as good as a 100% block, and in other it wont matter at all. I understand being able to totally turtle in and build a super weapon or something is undesirable, but empire boundaries should mean something. My solution means that if you are going
But in a final confrontation they have the advantage, seeing as they don't have a game-ending game-ender, they have to fight, and when they do their army has to be the strongest, because it will be the smallest.
But with a much greater expansion potential they can afford to lose ships quickly, they can just keep pumping them out of 30 different factories and sending them to the nearest planet to the confrontation. 'final confrontations' usually happen when t
How do we simulate node crashes?
Just change a few logos and give them a slightly different hair color and you are good to go! Actually wait, i think their hair is hot. Just change the logos and you are good to go! Maybe make the armor a slightly different shade of black, refer to the guns as a 'bolty' a 'melter' and a 'burner'. Theres no reason why we cant have nice things. Nice things in form fitting armor 0_0 I would like one on my spaceship please.
I would like this in my TEC, please.
To a point. But thats a fixed value designed to balance against a variable. Any advantage the other two races gain in being able to have 'more ships' will slowly disappear the larger a map gets, and the vasaris jump advantage will more or less stay the same.
Being that they can jump between all their planets if they build the appropriate structures, they seem to be the only empire that is not capable of 'overextending' itself. Due to a fleet cap that does not scale with empire size, thus making 'local' defense fleets impossible after a while, its inevitable that the other two races will reach a maximum point where their fleet is only capable of protecting a certain number of worlds. But the vasari will not reach this problem anywhere near as soon.<b
The antimatter thing is kind of stupid. And a research upgrade for the current PJI that only adds a little bit of time, or making an advanced PJI is also stupid, because it would more or less make the current PJI obsolete and remove the purpose of having them in the first place. You could research an upgrade for PJI that made a certain % of ships (say 10 per level or so. 2 levels) who try to jump out of a system with a PJI have a catastrophic phase engine failure that takes a l
Stardock is a regular company, theres no need to worry about them scamming you. Ive been buying things over the internet with my credit card for 10 years now, as long as you stick to well known things such as amazon or new egg, or physical stores online counterparts (best buy, etc), or buy things direct from companies themselves (such as stardock=p), you should be okay. I would avoid some seedy middle-men type things however, and be ware of small name online businesses that you don't make sure y
You shoot at what you are wanting to attack so you get the shield bonus when you warp your fleet in. Also spying. Their super weapon buffs their fleets shields and reveals a planet with out using scout ships. That pretty powerful if you ask me =P
I like Kronac's Cross. cool, will do. thx.
The thing to remember with it, is that if you get arctic colonization quickly you can more or less secure a little area of 4 planets for yourself. There are three entrances to your little empire, but the pirates always use the same one, and you can more or less guess which enemy is going to use which side of the other two. Gam
haha, oh wow
The problem is time is the only real contributor to 'scale'. The maps in this game are not all that big. What makes them 'seem' big is how long it takes to do anything. I could take the current game and replace each planet with an individual galaxy graphic, that wouldn't make the game any larger. Its all about time. Speed up the game and all you have is another RTS.
12 pirate bases=p
Give one of the support caps some kind of 'blockade' ability. That or make some 'blockade cruisers' for each race. They exist to sit there, near a phase lane, and nothing within their immediate area can jump while they still live when they are in 'deployed' mode. While deployed they can not move. They are durable but no more durable than a durable cruiser, not like a cap or a structure. They will not be as overpowered as a jump drive inhibitor that covers the whole system and always wor
and i think catering to RTS players who will be gone the next RTS title that comes out is a waste=P Spend more time making this a real time 4x game, not a slightly larger RTS. If this game is supposed to be more grandiose and 'epic' than a RTS, its going to HAVE to take longer to play a game of. Risk takes longer to play than stratego. IF you want a smaller, faster game. Then use the map creator. Make a game that has 1. 3 planets per player (which is what
lol thats pretty neat though. The game wont work with that graphics card, so the game just turns the graphics off=P Lets you still play with just the icons. Im going to try and install this game on my microwave...
I like Kronac's Cross.
