I have seen AI ships but not Calvary.. the ship didnt really do anything just moved around.. occasionally.

Thats a bug. Happened to me too and also had Krax build a city on top of a fire shard and when I took the city I couldnt build the shrine. Razed the city and the shard disappeared.
D&D allows characters to carry swords/bows and still be able to cast spells and use specials. You dont have to have a staff/wand. D&D even needs hand motions (sometimes) for spells so equipment would get in the way. But since this is computer wise you dont have to manually sheath your sword.
click on the city and your Sov should show up on the bottom right corner of your city and just click on them and move them out.
Thanks, its the Microsoft notepad... could you give me a link or tell we where to find Notepad++. Would that be why i got an error when trying to open it back up? Im a total noob to modding. Thought i would try it on a Custom Sov and Faction. I found the XML files in My Docs files and like I read copied them to notepad. Tweaked a few things, mainly changing starting stats and mana regen. saved as XML file and overwrited. Ok great it works in game. BUT if i try to reopen the XML file it says error. I dont know if this matters, but, when I pasted the file to notepad it lost all colour and line placement. Does it have to be looking like it was in th
It was opened ended making another book a must. I loved it, great read. There really wasnt any slow parts, switching between the characters keep me wanting to read more to find out what happened.
Well i dont know whats wrong then.. mine miss sometimes but they dont always do max damage.
Have the caravan respawn like 5 turns later or something after its destroyed. the route is still there.
Try building all your unique gildar bonus buildings on your major gold mine city, that will help increase your gildar rate
The Archers have been fixed, just get the latest patch. =p
Resources dont have to be connected to a city to get the resource. Tho if connected you can use the bonus building for it, IE smelter, granary.
on a side note.. this really is not a bad bug.. especially if your not really ready yet for war. Yes i would like to see it fixed and to be able to demand your own tribute.
I agree with 1 thing. Elemental is NOT Civ5. Element is a different type of game. I am not gonna buy Civ5 due t the fact that.... Its still Civ, same game just a different cover/makeover. Its great, but then after a week you realize your just playing Civ... as you have on Civ 4 and before that Civ 3...
The book was awesome, very great elements in it, i cant wait to see the bonus campaign and follow the footsteps of Xander and Geni. Also, Brad, I hope you write the follow up very soon, that cliffhanger was great and would love to read more.
I agree with the equipment being expanded. Would also love to see dual wield weapons. Tho by having only 1 amulet/2 ring slots u do limit the upgrades tho. I never understood that, I myself wear more than 1 ring on each hand and amulets.
what happens on that turn? certain events can freeze you up. I had 1 of my grand children from a dead faction pop up on my capitol and freeze the game. happened everytime on load up. Also for Kingdoms when you get the upgraded houses, if you have alot of them it freezes the game as well.
I would love to see more campaigns and possibly add-on sub campaigns in the future. Thanks for the update Brad, your book was great i couldnt put it down. =p
the "Destiny's Tutor" quest doesnt spawn a visible building on the cloth map but if your zoom in and move your unit a place shows up but it just disappears when you touch it. Having same problem with the Sagog quest as well. She took my egg and ran away. FYI: Its not derailing if we are still talking about quests.

We must not be playing the same game. Food is no problem with caravans, and on the movement note, your caravans make roads. So that being said your units shouldnt be moving 1 space at a time, unless your world is filled with forests. Gildar also isnt an issues, between the merchants and the gold mines and the trade research. Apparently there is no pleasing you people. They fixed the combat and magic and now its not good enough for you still. I really enjoy playing v1.08.
On the Cloth Map, Quest goals are highlighted yellow, just zoom out and look around, usually lit up too. I have a prob now where when i finish the quest the build i got it from doesnt disapper, IE the Inn or the Hut. its annoying when its in the path i want my city to take.
FYI: the game DOES tell you when a unit is built, its on the top right corner, its all those messages, I also get a "Caravan Limit has been reached" pop up. And when your caravan dies, it tells you with city it came from.
in the Lore the Sov is the major part of the game, to make the Sov anything other than option 1 or 4 would take away from the gameplay. I vote option 4. and to make your Sov/caster unique, Imbue Champion should be limited, right now there is not big difference between your Sov and a caster champion.
