I hope in a changement, but i think the battle interface will remain the same, i suppose that the reason is in the project of implement dungeoning in the quests usin the battle interface. I was doing a similar thing in the best fNTsy tactical battle game here http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=2676 Stardock has to learn how to do tactical battles here!!!

I would prefer a Total War game style, with a decent HUD and with realistic units (not a Might and Magic clone). I'm afraid that this is not what we will see. I gave a look at the first battle images given by developers some months ago, and i compared with the tactical battle i'm playng now in the beta: it seems two diffrent games, i bought this game only because of the first screenshots i've seen months ago, i made a wrong. I think i'll have another Might and Magic cl

Good job but, as i see, there is no unit scaling in tactical battles. Is this a features that will be added in the final version? I think that the proportional scaling of units is more important in tactical battles than in the world map ( for realism and immersion in the game). Thanks

Mouse look is still crappy when you zoom in the rotation angle of the camera is too high, so, rotating, you loose the view of the unit; is better to make the camera rotation angle proportional to the zoom distance to the focus as in SOASE. Also in tactical battles i would prefer a more realistic view with scaled units when zoom in.

I think that tactical combat scenes must to be more realistic, with a right proportional unit scaling when zooming in ( and optionally a costant realistic unit size option as in Fatantasy Wars or Elven Legacy ), also the scenes seems too "Might a Magicsh", i would prefer a turn based "Total War" battle, with huge armies in the field and endless boundaries (as in the first pictures showed about this game ) and all perfectly scaled.

I played tactical tbs and i think the old Fantasy General scheme was the best, i also think that is necessary for this game a tactical side with a gameplay similar to FW or the sequel Elven Legacy with MANY units on the field ( not with one rapresentative unit for each tipe as in Kings Bounty), i hope in something like a turn based Total War style battle!!! All this with my customized units, with my customized banners an so Wonderfull

I really love graphics and mose view but i ask: 1) Add an invert mouse axis x and y option as in SOASE! 2) When the look is in the nearest position of the unit, the angle of camera rotation remains the one of the far view, so we need to make a proportional scaling of the rotation angle of the camera to the zoom. 3) (Absolutely off topic) i wuod have a banner editor and banners on the soldier armour and shields 4) I suggest, about the tactical battles, to
