Hi all, Just installed latest Beta of Tiles and must say that I am really impressed with the software! Well done guys :) Just couple of suggestion: 1. Any chance you can add smooth hide / show animation for the main bar? As it is, it kind of just appears, in somehow clunky way too, so it would be great if main bar would be animated instead... 2. Option to change fonts for the titles and indeed option to switch titles off completely. I don't exactly

Oh so I am not alone... Basically, here is quick list of applications that WFX4 animations are WORKING with on my system: Outlook Word Excel GameStop Client And here is list of apps that animations are NOT WORKING with: Photoshop Flash InDesign and all other CS apps Chrome (web browser) CyberDuck WinAmp VLC Steam <
Hey, thanks for the reply! :) WindowFX 5 sounds great to me! (hopefully I get a free upgrade to it since I just bought version 4!?) Saying all that - I love the version 4 as well I just need to get those animations working for all (or at least most) applications / windows. Are you using WFX4 and are you experiencing same or similar issues with Animations not triggering with most applications on your system?
Hi all, Just installed latest version of WindowFX 4 and rather like it a lot! However, slight issue with it... Animations are working ONLY with MIcrosoft Office 2007 applications (Outlook, Word, etc...) while other applications are opening, closing, minimising and maximising same as before!?!?!?! Rest of WindowFX 4 effects are working fine so no problem there. My system is Windows 7 Ultimate. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance!<
Hi all, I haven't tried Stardock's Keyboard Launchpad software as yet hence this post... Basically, what I wish to achieve is to assign HOTKEY(s) to two different WB skin variations so I can switch them by simply tapping HOTKEY for one or another. Is it possible to assign HOTKEY to WB skin variations using Keyboard Launchpad? If not, is there any other way I can achieve this? Many thanks in advance and all the best!
@Neil Banfield Here is an idea for Stardock people! If it's impossible to combine dark and light skin in some way so each one kicks in when needed how about this solution: HOT KEY! For example - ENDEAVOUR skin, as mentioned in above posts, comes in 4 flavours, main two being default dark version and then light version of the same. It would be simply BRILLIANT
Wow! Some great replies guys! Many thanks :) @DaveRi Thanks for the hints for colour change! I will play with it when I get a chance :) @2of3 & DaveBax I have latest version of WB and up to date Window 7 Ultimate but here is info anyway: Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 5.9</
Hi all, After years of using Mac I am finally back to PC and Windows ;) Anyway, one of the first things I did was to install WB and few nice skins... I have no issues with the software and everything is working wonderfully, however, there is one rather annoying thing - my favourite dark skin ENDEAVOUR (and I presume other dark skins too) play rather nicely with majority of applications but not so nice with others. If that 'other' applications were not
I haven't posted to this forums in ages but such news must be addressed with one massive YES! Great stuff - can't wait to dive into it :)
Although I am Mac user I have to say that it looks like 10x better / more useful device than iPad... But we will see when it gets released :)
Perhaps I ditch my Mac and replace it with Asus Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee machine!? http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=MwWeVhoqytqMj5Mq eeeeeeeeeeeeee
Valve has recently posted closed Beta invitations for Mac Steam - so final release is getting rather close :) http://store.steampowered.com/macbeta/
Got my Impulse account since day 1 of various beta releases and love it! I used to have Steam account when it was just released but not any more... Saying all that, it looks like I am going to sign up for Steam again - why? - if you are Mac user you know the answer! :) Regarding OP - its just internet, so I wouldn't waste too much of my time on handful of forums posts quite frankly...
@Frogboy I don't quite understand the logic of "not thinking to do your gaming on Mac" ... Hardware wise, Mac is virtually identical to PC these days while input devices (mouse and keyboard) are same as well... As a gamer, I cant care less on what my game is running as long as I am having smooth experience and am not forced to use input devices I don't like (read console controllers)... Only difference between Mac and PC is OS and most (if not
@Killz I am running BootCamp already man :) In fact, since the day one I made switch to Mac... It runs great and it is awesome - yes... But quite frankly I would rather play my fav games natively on Mac :) Hence this thread...
Sure... Personally, I ditched IE as well as Windows almost 3 years ago and moved to Mac. Being a gamer, I am kinda forced to use BootCamp to play Sins and couple of other games but quite frankly, if possible at all, I would rather play my games on Mac... It looks like Valve agrees with me, we know that Blizzard agrees as well, we also know that DICE is pretty much there as well... With latest news it sounds like many others will join as well (at least according to Valv
Not sure if this obvious thread has been created already - sorry if it has... Anyway, just curious what SD thinks of Valves latest move!? I am ofc referring to their decision to port STEAM as well as entire Valve catalogue to Mac platform... If that wasn't enough already - apparently they are talking to all Steam publishers to consider Mac ports as well and are apparently quite certain fair few will do exactly that... Now, how about Impulse for M
Very interested indeed! Will be getting iSlate as soon as it comes out :)
All I want from Diplomacy is nothing to do with Diplomacy... - better and more varied MP support - better and more varied stat system, clan support, ladders and leagues, anti smurf perhaps etc... - more game modes (why domination only!?!?) - how about escort, capture the artefact, defend the solar system, etc... - and of course SP that would tell decent story via different game modes... But hey... I preorderd the Di
Awesome news :) Looking forward to it!
There is plenty of room for Diplomacy in this game - of course there is! However - I do agree that there are more important things to add... such as: 1. proper MP support 2. different MP and SP game modes with different winning conditions Now, saying all that, if they can somehow sneak in this 2 points together with Diplomacy then I am happy puppy! :)
I would go that far to say not only that Entrenchment is worth buying but its also worth preordering Diplomacy too! By preordering you are automatically included into Beta program which should start soon(ish)! Plus! I think it is DUTY of every true PC gamer to support Ironclad! Officially the best dev team today, yesterday and most probably tomorrow too... (if they don't exchange their souls and passion for some stin
Been using OS X for over 2 years now... Is it perfect? Of course not... Is it the best thing available today? Yes! By far as well... Haven't had single security issue, virus issue, loss of data issue, crash issue or anything similar... Thing simply works and does any job you through upon it. I can't complain and will stick with it for a very long time by look of it :)
New gamers are getting "soft" due to type of games they are being served these days... Old school gamers are just getting fed up with everything and giving up entirely... I have been playing computer and video games for more than 25 years and situation has never been so bad and shallow as it is now... Only game I play for the last couple of years is Sins... Rest is not even worth a mention unfortunately :s
