Those are really bad and vague choices. You need a "I like it but it needs a lot of work" choice.

So with Day 0 behind us and the upcoming multiplayer next week, what do you guys have planned for the game next? What updates or things will you all be working based on the feedback? Thanks!
It's your prerogative and I am glad you got your money back.
Just email Sales@stardock
Still dont understand how they could make such a simple booboo in the faction editor, and LOCK half of it in the hotfix rather than just, fix it, which i myself accomplished in a minute (its just a single line that needs changing).
Maybe they'll see this and release another hotfix. Did anyone post it in the bugs thread?
It is a good point that Empire: Total War got a free ride and that game is complete crap compared to Napoleon. It was a buggy mess and still is. Napoleon is what Empire should have been.
I enjoy this game but some of you have a case of the fanboys. This review is spot on. Magic does seem underwhelming. He brings up a lot of good points and you're shooting him down. Anyway, great thread. Don't let them get you down.
This will be worth something then.
Thanks I guess? I'm sure this comment made this thread worthwhile... Anyway keep on adding the suggestions! They are really good. edit: Having specific inventory tabs in the shop would probably go a long way too. Like Weapons/Armor/Other
I'm on turn 215 and i'm noticing the game stuttering too. Also the tutorial popups seem to have disappeared, I was hoping they would still be more detailed. Thanks for the answers everyone. I figured out selling equipment after I posted. Another bug I found - My fireball animation is not coming up sometimes when I cast the spell.
The patch is working great but I made this thread to give some feedback for future builds. Please add your own suggestions! Unit Design needs more custom options. More hair/shirts/pants/etc maybe a little color wheel to tweak the color? I really like the Zoom to City mode when you're building, but it still doesn't "snap" back to your normal view after you're done, making it a nuisance in my opinion because i have to manually reset the camera. What exactly does having m
That's another thing they need to do in later patches... add more tactical combat battlegrounds. Everything is a swamp or rocks. Either way its super gray and beige. Those colors are only reserved for console shooters!
Well, personal choice I suppose. I love the game. And, honestly, I don't really look for immersion in 4x games. That's what 1st and 3rd person games are for IMO.
Some people like to play make believe and think they're Emperors or Kings. I am one of them :(
F*cking Caravans, how do they work?
You could change the graphical presentation to make soldiers look more like units than individuals (something that sort of happens later in the game, which only emphasizes the small scale of the early game). It could be more clear than 1 pop unit in a city isn't just 1 person This is a really good idea by the OP and I have something to add to it. The one troop you train is just a unit. 4 units are able to join into a squad and when
Quoting solidsmooky, reply 46 Today is release day and they were clear on what was going on and they did say that Sunday wasn't the release day. I think you should read the past threads from earlier this week before you make posts like this. I hope this helps. They were not clear in the slightest. It was available for download on the day they said the final product would come out. What does Sunday have to do with anyth
Also I have to point out how funny it is that you're okay with them releasing the game 2 days later but you're upset the patch is "late" when they said it would be this evening.
My main gripe is that they released an unfinished product on the day they said the game was coming out. If it wasn't ready, it shouldn't be on Impulse as the final product. Period. They themselves have admitted that what was released to the manufacturer was not ready ... why else would a 0-day patch be necessary? This is sadly endemic to the games industry these days: release it broken and patch it later. Now, t
Oh yeah also in the Campaign you can skip chapters if you wander around a bit. For example when i'm supposed to kill the trolls for that farmer town around chapter 2 or 3, I sort of just wandered north and killed those Lurkers or whatever and It showed me stuff from Chapter 11.
Working on getting a few more tutorial-esque bits into the campaign as we speak, using your guys' feedback as my metric for what to hit the hardest (being so close to the project, we totally overlooked things like 'camera controls' and 'unit movement')...sorry about that Hopefully this next pass will help ease people into the gameplay better
The tutorial should hold your hand a little on what you should do in a
Game day patch isn't up yet. This was a mid-release patch that was uploaded yesterday. The game day patch is coming "this evening" according to Frogboy
Where is the Multiplayer, Obama? Where is it?!
Quoting Frogboy, reply 15 The release date of Elemental has been August 24th for a long time. We released the game early to our pre-order customers and beta testers because several retailers broke the street date. Any version played prior to the 24th is, by definition, a pre-release version. No...I downloaded the game on the morning of the 24th. I'm in the eastern U.S., same as y'all, so same time zon

If anyone gets it, I think he does. Which map script is that? I see myself playing some more Civ 4 until Elemental is in a playable state (and let's be honest: Civ V probably will need a few patches as well) and am always intererested in good map scr
Yeah it's coming today. Unless you're a socialist European then tomorrow. But if you're a God Fearing American then its today.
