I am in favor of following the MOM model. Intellegence affects power of spells, wisdom is amount of mana you can use per battle. Also, it would be great to figure out a way to allow your main character to participate in all battles (spell wise not physically).

This would be an awesome mod that I think a lot of people would appreciate. One thing I would love to see included in it is some kind of wizards tower that would allow your wizard to participate in all battles (not physically just spell wise). Good luck.
[quote who="Pantasd" reply="1" id="2757470"]6. Soldier experience: its in the game 9. Last please don't make all spell books researchable: Why MOM was so re-playable is because you had to start over to try chaos magic, not just research it. (PLEASE Brad don't do this it would make every game the same. By the end I would have all the spell books, wouldn't everyone? So who cares what you pick at the beginning. Also spell book
Check out the new ideas for elemental post. I love MOM and would recomment buying it. but, it is a pain to get to run on windows.
1. A wizard tower: This would allow your channeler to cast spells in any combat (like MOM) It would make your main character vital worldwide (like a immortal channeler should be) 2. A "bank" of mana for your wizard: Mana that would continue building until you spent it allowing your channeler to cast more powerful spells more often (like MOM). 3. Better town buildings: You should have to build different types of barracks for different soldier
I have been reading a lot of reviews of this game and Brad's amazing response/apology to the gaming community. I would like to add my two cents. I don't think it is all Stardock's fault for releasing this game as it is. I was involved in the beta process because I am a huge fan on Master of Magic. This game was supposed to "spiritually" follow MOM's footsteps. I think it would have. In the beginning the game sounded great. There were no global resourc
One thing that made Master of Magic so good is that the spell books were so different from one another. Chaos kicked butt in battle, but life had the best army buffs. Earth was a defensive juggernaught, but sorcery could mess with other peoples magic. So far the spell book for Elemental is basically the same exact spell over and over. Electrical damage, Fire damage, earth (blunt) damage. Same spell (dam = int/3), only different names. There is nothing wrong
