I asked for my money back today. The game is just not playable and my system exceeds the minimum specs. Even going beyond the technical issues, I think the game is fundamentally flawed in the basic design.
I think this is a bad design decision. Everyone should be able to retreat, but there should be consequences to it, and this consequences should be even worse if the enemy has ranged weapons/spells or faster units.
I'm seeing most of the other bugs being reported here, including slowness later in the game. I have to use a Small world or it just gets unplayable, and the DX Error when I alt-tab is also a major annoyance. Here's some other issues I've seen. Possible Bugs and/or Feature Requests 1.
