I like Steam for all the reasons mentioned. What I don't like about Steam is the bizarre offline mode. I have to go online to turn offline mode on, then restart Steam in offline mode. What if the connection is out and I can't get online to go into offline mode? I haven't figured out the logic behind that one yet.

I recently had my soverign go check out some treasure chests that had spawned nearby, however, opening them subtracted gilder equal to whatever the chests were worth. I should note I was in negative gilder when I opened them up.
Is Mason Fisher going to do the music for Fallen Enchantress? I really enjoyed his work in War of Magic and often found myself tapping along to the drums heh.

I really enjoy the look of the map. However, my primary complaint would be the liniarity of the random maps. It seems like the majority of the available area is water and the available land mass is limited in places to expand. Frequently, other factions spawn very close my own location, making expansion difficult due to the liniarity.
