If you have Pariden, this gives you an extra 4 summons. That alone is powerful. Especially if anyone else had figured out how to build an uber army of elementals. It's kind of crazy, you have to have a plan for it on turn 1 and it pays off on turn 300 or so. God I love this game.

I am thinking I may do a total rebalance of Hf's mod so people can play with my rules, but his graphics. The man has added so many freaking amazing new models. It's too bad he is not interested in moving to the Midwest. [e digicons];)[/e]
It's a problem of difficulty. That extremist expansion AI we had in beta 4 needs to be standard for each race on hard and above. Below that, let the AI only have a few cities. The problem is that there are light users and more competitive users. I prefer a tooth and nail fight for territory with monsters having the final say in who lives or dies. Light users should be able to expand at their leisure if they are having fun just playing the game. For me, it makes it hard to justify war on m
Familiars should play like a mini-me. They need to be meaty but with little armor. Say 50Hp and 4 armor. Something you use to lead a minor army, but no something you would use against another Sov. Their inherent lack of Spell Mastery makes them weak against anything other than peons and militia, but against those they can cast a decent fireball. Also, doubling your summons can get ridiculously strong with the right Sov. Especially if you are focusing on increasing your summoning level.
Meh, my Path of the Healer can heal injuries for 500 mana. So let them die with aggressive lairs.
90. This game is the comeback kid. That's a rarity these days.
So too is the UI extremely flexible modding wise. If you really need a spoon fed interface, make one. The majority of gamers will be satisfied with the current one.
It doubles the number of sov summons. But other than that, I had to mod it extensively to play the way I think is appropriate.
But it didn't affect their metascore. lawyered.
This will be a nice feature. I might direct your attention to the possibility of making stamps if maps are your passion. It would be great to also have a large library of really well thought out stamps.
Enough to get us by for a month while I double the number.
I love what I see. I look forward to the mod discussions after release. I could spend a year just making cool stamps.
FYI to devs. Bows do indeed have a tag that says they have 6 range. I assume this is for later when bows are redone, but for now you need to set it to 100 so special abilities don't get screwed up.
Sometimes I upload pictures of nummy treats and post them as bugs. It gives the devs a nice little reward.

Not going to play mods eh? Too bad because that is where FE has the most depth. It's like ordering a steak at a nice restaurant and only eating the salad.
If I were a lawyer I would point out the a bad UI has not effect on most metascores using the score precedent of Skyrim.
At least for me, any player that I know to be talking about higher difficulties is not a factor in the conversation. If the AI is getting massive bonuses, the balance is already worthless and does not enhance the discussion as far as balancing the game. We have to always balance for when the AI and the player are playing by the same rules. In other contexts it might matter, but when we are specifically trying to balance cities, only relevant information can be used. Just as my mod is not a fa
I really hope people are not doing that. Just because they get a crash zip automatically doesn't mean they have the context of the crash to be able to solve the issue. Many crashes may even be ruled out by their smart exception program. If you are repeating a crash, you need to make a ticket and get it solved. That is the whole point of beta testing.
Well, it's too late to rebalance cities towards large powerful cities. Next week you guys can just play my cities mod that has a more meaningful levelup system. I am not sure this kind of improvement is going to make or break the game. In which case, a mod is fine.
You could try searching for a the folder called screens. It should give you the FE game directory for one and the FE program data directory for the other.
I am an outlyer in these cases, but my outdated 512MB's of Windows 7 incompatible video memory runs a faster for .99 than any other. I can get to the endgame in vanilla with reasonable frames per second. Playing with what would call the desired number of monsters sends me straight to cloth map though.
I believe the description says a string tied to a stick at both ends.
There is a "HasWages" = 0 tag missing from these hunters and mercs.
I'll check my files as soon as I get a chance. I am sure I have this in one of my quests, but I can't remember which one. I have alot of projects going at once. I now and afraid I coded it without testing it and it doesn't work. [e digicons]8C[/e]
