Gonna update that I count 2 users that have written off the game from install problems in other posts. I hope you guys have it together by next week. I don't want to have another WoM release. It gets thrown around alot, but I was there and it was brutal. People expect every install to download correctly and function. It doesn't matter if the game is good or not. If you can't install it, who cares?

Ya, SDC is still in beta right? I get registry errors from updating FE there. Better to go the site and hope for a working install. I posted about install issues, which is all we can do as a beta tester. It's up to them to make sure the customers are getting good copies of the game they just spent 2 years fixing.
I can't complain or at least I won't because the game looked good there. I do wish he hadn't felt the need to describe how a TBS game functions, but this is a niche genre.

I had a troll disengage combat and hide. Once his Hp was at half, he came back and another one left. That was when I finally started respecting the monster AI. And now I bring a fire mage.

Never trade tech points to the AI. They go around and sell them to your enemies. I only buy and give them gildar or metal.

I know what you mean about wanting the tools early. I want to start adding in my "Robust Cities Mod" that I never released for WoM. This time someone might play it!
I have been working on making some content mods for the release. I wonder how long people will play before switching over to the realm of storms? Better make sure the content is Stormworld compatible. I will be nice to have a larger number of people playing mods. But all others are going to be dwarfed in comparison to this one. Hope the reviews go well.

They are running due to low Hp and weak combat rating. More armor and units would solve the issue is all I meant.
Fire Elemental, Earth Elemental, Water Elemental, Shadow Warg. Once you start power leveling your Sov, you can get some nice bonuses to the spawn rating of your summons. Each Mage you level adds +3 levels to the milestone. Once you get that number to 20, you really start to dominate. The trick is to level very efficiently and get all the magic books for each hero you find. The familiar adds a nice doubling and early on that extra shadow warg can be very useful.
This is not a bug silly.

Auto-turn is an abomination. It should burn next to Judas in the hottest flames of hell.
-1Hp per level is a major penalty. Pariden no longer needs Inefficient to be balanced. The weak troops are enough. And Magnar's slaves need only -1Hp per level. That plus -10 weight capacity and less Initiative is why you will never see a slaver win Elemental.

Now that the balance is more stable, I hope the core units get some touching up. I think some of their trait choices and lack of any trait choices is hurting their chance to succeed. I can't think of a melee unit that doesn't need Charge for instance. Even Iron Golems need this to work as a respectable tank.
There is very little to whine about. The last thing I can think of the the treaty bug. So: If you don't stop treaties from ending early, the game with get -5 metascore points. You see, I control these points with my whims and flights of fancy.
Ya, the treaty system was written by an offspring of Hitler. Not sure how he got past HR.
Maybe Pariden should get -1Hp per level, but +2Hp per earthshard? That could be a nice balance. It pushes them to really go after shards.
I want more city defense, but they just added some serious defense things I have been pushing for. I will be satisfied to see it go gold with the current difficulty. I mean if they added in everything I wanted, what would there be to mod?
