So where is the release party going to be? So I can, ummm, send some flowers... [e digicons][/e]

I snake and then fill in the city in the latter tiers. It all ends up like a square.
So we are only a step away from being able to raise zombies with one such structure and a little magic? [e digicons]:smitten:[/e]
I am gonna play this game so hard the expansions are gonna feel it!
I have to say the potential for me to mod this engine makes me wish I had never read this thread. [e digicons]#:([/e]
Some resources already work this way in Beta 4, if they are in your territory. I don't know if it makes sense to allow wilderness resources to benefit anyone as it would imbalance the current city structure. Best of luck on trying to mod this in though, I'd like to see how it works. [e digicons][/e]
Some one making middle earth yet or do I have to?
I have spent hundreds of hours making tech trees for galciv 2 TA and it is probably the best part of that game. I look forward to this update in modding for the sake of it. Many times I only made the techs for the AI to use. [e digicons]\o/[/e] I am curious to see how effective Frog's Ai will be at handling new units and factions, given that the current similarites in the Beta 4 factions are certainly in part due to having a primitive AI.
It is clear to me that archers are the biggest problem in the current system we see. You guys seem to be talking more about complex modding and less about a presentable idea to give to the devs. I suggest that we accept their usage of grouped units and ask them to look at the ability of an archer to assassinate one's Sov in the first round. Obviously AoW handled this VERY well, but that kind of system will never be in the build they are making for release and would seriously be a he
I am so addicted I am considering lying about having smallpox and locking myself in my bedroom unitl October. All kidding aside, it is foolish to fear dissapointment from a game that is specifically made with variation in mind. So far factions have't been differentiated, as every troll with an internet connection has been pointing out this week, but the fact that they are so similiar is a good indication that they will get a lot more work in the future. I am currently thinking about how
I am so addicted I am considering lying about having small pox and locking myself in my bedroom unitl October. All kidding aside, it is foolish to fear dissapointment from a game that is specifically made with control freaks in mind. If there is anything in the game you don't like, mod to your specifications and move on with the game. I am playing every chance I get so I can test out the map making features and give some input into how to mod them and really give each realm a more immersive f
Inception in many ways uses a more japanese style of storytelling, as opposed to the western tradition. We already know the outcome from the first scene in many respects. I just wish they had spent more time fleshing out the characters, which is really what makes japanese drama so appealing.
I think I'll make a Mortal Kombat style quest that at the end unlocks different exotic battlefields across the map that can be accessed every ten turns to fight increasingly more powerful opponents. Mortal Kombat!!!! [e digicons]XO[/e] [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
I am starting to realize that you guys aren't playing the game on epic. Try a slower tech pace and literally all of your problems could be solved. [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
Hush frogboy! I think you will like this game. Weapons are going to be different on release. From what I hear from [e digicons]:frogboy:[/e] is that there will be slash, pierce, and dodging abilities. Monsters get special attacks. Wizards can be made. Entire legions will rise from the ground at you whim. Maybe Beta 4 confused you because it is so much fun. It is not a game. The game comes out in a few weeks.
Actually it should be possible to make a tile that spans a few squares so that things are blended better.
Also, if in twenty years the company goes kapoot, I am sure frogboy will personally release the patches on an idependent server so that we can update post-Stardock. Then you can save them and play on. But if you ask me, the gold version will have most all patches and anything can really be self-patched given the ease of access we are given. Hypothetical problem solved. [e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
I want to play a 16 but I am realistically thinking a 3-4 player will actually get finished. No one will wait for an hour while others play. [e digicons]-_-[/e]
Judging from this I can make hobbits/halflings and reduce their size with a simple .3 mod. That will save me so much time. Giants = 3.0 ? and how do I make them take up more space on the tacmap?
Agree with Excalpius to a lesser extent about the characters and plot being somewhat lacking. I think he is being a little cynical in his whole approach to critiquing such a movie. I would say that based merely on its concept and execution of the dream world, I am sufficiently impressed to say this is my favorite exploration into the dream state. To me this movie is less about the characters and their minute internal conflicts and more about the exploration of humanity's ability to creat
but you get better resources lol.
In the 1.1 we will probably get a decent curve to these monsters and how often they spawn. I would remind everyone though that we need such critters in the game to level up our heroes fo bigger battles. I usually leave my offspring in my territory to deal with the spawning. That way after 10 or so games of whack a mole, I get a usefull unit.
Inns should behave like a resource!
It is good enough to bring alien civilizations within range to catch a broadcast. I hope they try popcorn too.
