While these are all good points and suggestions, mine is perhaps more fun. Give Sovs a large health capacity so that they can survive longer in a given battle. Frog is already teaching the AI to not attack with the Sov unless they are very very overpowered. I think adding some very expensive but useful articfacts to the magical tree is the best fantasy rpg way to deal with this for human and AI alike. Brilliant update. I am going to use that to make my current cityset a race specific feature. Then I will make a kingdom race that has a completely different upgraded cityset! That way everyone starts out with low level generic buildings and gets uniquely articulated ones as time goes on. I was just reading a dev journal that got raided by nay-sayers and it gave me an idea. Is it possible to have the magic system give us a reward for using a specific spell more often? I am talking about how in Oblivion and most ElderScrolls games when you level up, you choose bonuses based on what you used the most. Wouldn't it be cool if the same thing happened in Elemental when you used a specific element exclusively with a hero or Sov? Maybe the level system could let us choose a schoo

Thanks for the feedback. It took me a long while cause I didn't know what I was building till I looked back at some of my favorite shops in Oblivion. I hope this tile editor catches on soon. I spent 30 min playing the game today and 4hrs making tiles. Also, if you look real close, I set up each group talking in the open areas as adventure parties. FYI, I realized that before I posted and fixed it. I was going to edit here, but I thought some of you would enjoy finding the error. Just so you know I was one of the few people to get GalCiv2TA to have Star Wars modded weapons to work. I am actually thinking now that it would be better to not give bonuses to high level buildings as it defeats the purpose of tech advancement, which is why the devs have it the way it is. Hello friend. I think you'll find that we at the Stardock forums are a little more understanding. You are not alone in this annoyance and there are a few good ways to get around the current random map problems. I would first suggest you see if my map, Prirod, has been accepted by the moderators for download in the Workshop section. There are still some mysteries in the forge. As things stand, you have to either place a piece several times at first to achieve the same size or do it manually each time. I like to create at least four of every large object I want to use and keep the extras on the side as a pallette. I think an update or two could fix things so that you need only click a previously made piece in order to duplicate it, but that is a longs ways off I suppose.

There is a destroyed pillar piece that has an undestroyed twin. You could use it for part of the building and then witch them out as needed. I also thought some debris around the bottom would add to the effect. I think I will probably use tiles like yours for my empires as I feel no real aspiration to build them right now. I think it makes more sense to get your books from techs, quests, and from the creation screen, a choice of one book that you get to start from. The idea of a neutral shard system was thrown around alot in the Beta, but fell short to make any sense as it was trying to solve the problem of resource distribution by ruining core lore of the game and book. @heavenfall, I like your style. I would, however, suggest that you allow your tiles to protrude at least a half tile out from your main tile. When you piece them together in the game it will look more organic and less blockish.
