I saw the area of effect one not too long ago, but before 1.8. I have seen te doubling a few times in 1.8 already. One thing that I have noticed (And maybe its just me) but I have a hell of a lot of minor races popping up. I'm averaging an extra 2-3 a game atm.

(Firstly, I am 90% sure this is the right place, if not please direct me to it and I will delete this and repost it there, cheers) Initially, this wasn't so much of a bother, but the game is randomly crashing and my last two games have had to be restarted due to consistent crashes.
