Will I be able to fight a giant magic chicken in this patch? (Just extrapolating from images [e digicons];P[/e] )

It's not a memory leak, there just isn't enough memory to store everything.
So if I were to implement a new city improvement, what would need to be done to get the AI to use it? Will the AI be smart enough to look at the benefits and determine if it's a worthwhile investment or is there some sort of priority value that needs to be assigned?
@Frogboy, is there actually LOD in FE? It's really difficult to tell, especially since the buildings are in most situations small and cluttered together anyway. Some possible optimisations could be: - Disable pedestrians in all cities except the one closest to the centre of the screen - LOD slider for pedestrians (turn them off at a certain zoom level) - might already be done? Might cause issues for certain tiles eg wild horses?
The improvements to the cloth map look fantastic, and I can see a lot of practicality for use beyond Elemental. For instance: my D&D group is currently in the middle of a game where the world has been made up as we go. We have a significant part of that world fleshed out now but all we have for a map is a picture of what we drew on a whiteboard. I reckon making a map using FE's tools would be great, so my request is: If/When the Elemental: Fallen En
Here's a video walkthrough: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=65rtyTNRrjQ
I watched this and your jumping made very little sense at all. Then I eventually realised that I wasn't watching the game in sequence, which really confused me. Is that youtube breaking for me or is that how the video was laid out?
To summarize my previous suggestions, I think a "tournament" mode that forces an identical starting area for at least a 10x10 or whatever radius you think is appropriate. This might even include a nice spot for a second city, similar to how in Starcraft you have a "natural" expansion.
This is probably very easy to do once modding becomes available.
I have a lot of steam games. A lot. That said, I don't like steam that much. It works like a charm on my desktop, but when I use my laptop, even 3 years after first using it I am still fighting with the client whenever I go where there is no internet (fyi Elemental:FE better not require internet access on startup when out of beta). This was the primary reason I first looked into Impulse. Below is my current routine for buying newly released games. <span style
This may be the one and only thread I post in during the beta, but if it helps then I've done my job as a tester. There is a long winded explanation below which if read through should enable everyone to grasp what I am getting at. For those who prefer the short summary , here it is: The construction of buildings should be accelerated based on what resources it needs. If it uses a resource that buildings currently under construction
