One thing I really would like to see more of is more lore/quests/flavor texts relating to the cataclysm that we are supposedly recovering from. Right now the world (to me, at least) feels very bland and standard, as far as fantasy goes. I was hoping that the post-apocalypse fantasy would really give Elemental a different feel, but so far I haven't seen much of that. I realise this is may not be a high-priority problem, but still... it is the one thing which has bothered me most...

I have to say, I really like the idea of recovering lost knowledge/resources after the apocalypse. It makes the game more thematically different from other more generic fantasy games, and is a good excuse for why the time it takes to invent swords is the same as the time it takes to walk between two neighboring cities. I wish the game focused more on this when it came to flavor texts and quests.
