Its been a LONG time since I played MoM but the highlights I remember fondly were - Figuring out the strategy for the permutations of magic type and race. Differing resources - nodes and cities, capturing nodes giving additional spell types Expanding into the unknown - random maps with fog of war Unit tactics - figuring out good combinations on the tactical map, using spells to influence the battles Summoning big nasty crittas
