How to save changes made to a desktop? in New Users WinCustomize Forums

Hey, all. I just applied the Lcars DX skin and have been making many changes to the targets for all the buttons, but I want to make sure that if my computer is restarted, I'll be able to retain these setttings. I tried saving the desktop, but now I can't seem to find it anywhere, and when loading up the same desktop (LCARS), it changed everything back to the defaults. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
