I went to the gamestop 5 minutes from my apartment and lo and behold, Demigod was on the PC Game shelf. I was surprised to see it because my gamestop has never released a game early, but due to the internet chatter on these forums I had to check it out for myself. I'm living in Orlando at the moment, btw. But I paid in full my DD copy so I have to stick with it ;D

I thank you for your detailed description of the differences between HoMM and MoM, I grew up with HoMM and played MoM only a little bit.I guess since I didn't dig deep enough into MoM I couldn't see the specific differences and kind of thought that they are similar enough on the surface. I guess I probably should have stated the amount of experience I've had with Masters of Magic. Cheers!

I find myself very interested in Elemental, firsly because of the developer's reputation, and secondly because it seems like Heroes of Might & Magic. But I find myself wondering what would be the point of a long time HoMM fan in purchasing this game? My general impressions and read throughs of previews give me the idea that it is like MoM, but I don't find MoM all that different from the HoMM series. I guess what I'm asking is what incentive do I have to

Last I heard was they were only hoping to get it out sometime before Thanksgiving break. So yeah seems like if not Wednesday, then the Thrusday after Thanksgiving, oh well....off to play the 9,000 other holiday games that need beating.
I'll make this simple for you. Start with HoMM II, it has great charm and simple core mechanics. Move onto HoMM III, its such a natural evolution of HoMM II that you'll appreciate it. Then try HoMM IV, its not for everyone, but approach it with an open mind and you might love it after awhile(it took me some time to warm up to it) Its different enough that you would want to play it at the same time you're playing other HoMMs. But for THE bes
