Looks very cool jon. The concepts behind the game sound sick. The whole seasons idea is really cool. I haven't seen anything as grand as it since the old Civ 2 games with the ice ages.

Looks interesting, just hope it's not like the plethora of failures in 4X this year.
My first PC game was the original Age Of Empires. Up until that point I had been mostly a console gamer, and I loved Red Alert and C&C tib dawn on the PS1. So naturally as soon as I saw the back of the Age Of Empires box I was blown away by seeing swordsman fighting and armies being commanded.
Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents. I was one of the poor idiots who bought into this game which is such a smoldering pile of trash. It's a real shame that games are allowed to be released in such a condition without refund. In any other retail form you would be allowed time to return poorly designed products, but in this new age of "licensing" we get none. I would have to agree with Das123. I honestly did not enjoy Armada too much, but I can see why people would. Anyways I enjoyed the unique aspects of Distant Worlds. It feels like a fresh new game. It plays very much differently from other 4x's. It really makes you feel like an emperor, rather than some guy building theaters or micromanaging stuff.
