Newbie in Requests WinCustomize Forums

I haven't been through what most skinners artists have been to make the wonderful work they do. But I'm also just as sure I have no idea where to start. Is there anyone willing to give advice for a newbie? As and amatuer artist I have always aspired to many things and I would love to bring my taste to the pallete that is WinCustomize, but I have no idea where to begin. For instance which program do most of you think works best for dreams? What mediums do you use? Is it a 3d rendering prog
