Hello, I recently reinstalled Sins after quite some time and I see now that it's being handled through this Inpulse launcher thing. One of my favorite parts of Sins was the graphics mods released for it as they made the game look and play much better. Are there any graphics mods that work with 1.181? I can't seem to find any. Sorry for being a noob, and thanks for the help. Thanks

Superweapons. They're a mixed bag of opinion,s on one side being far too overpowered and ruining gameplay, but on the other being a key strategic element to turn the tide of an everlasting stalemate. Superweapons need to be extremely powerful; how powerful I'm unsure as of yet, perhaps capable of taking out several planets at once, and need to cost an exorbitant amount of resources, and be stationary. Perhaps there can be an option to allow or disallow them at the start of the game.<br/

Alright, so after playing a while, i have gotten together a few suggestions: 1. When meeting other players, we SHOULD NOT automatically be at war, this is really annoying meaning peace treaties can be very hard to get if I accidently let my forces kill a scout ship. YES. Factions should be at a ceasefire when they first encounter one another, and from the beginning of the game. It's up to the player

I've played SINS now countless times, with all sorts of different scenarios fighting the AI with. Unfortunately the game is starting to get boring, if only for that fact that the AI really doesn't put up much in the way of opposition. So, with that in mind, I have two questions. 1) When does the official multiplayer beta with multiplayer service come out / or what's it slated for? 2) If the multiplayer service isn't something viable as of yet, I was wondering... how hard would

While this system would have a few advantages, (you could enter an enemy system, "sit" on the jumpoint and prevent them from building the gate to enter yours) those are also its disadvantages. As it stands, ships travel between planets in the exact fashion they do between stars. For some unknown reason, researching the ability to jump between stars just magically allows ships to now go a little further -- there's no speed difference, animation difference; anything. I would like to propose the following: Instead of the research for interstellar travel simply allowing the right click of a different star to do something, I think it should instead grant the ability to build jump

Or we could go with the 'All stars are fully interconnected' and the attached phase lanes are totally invisible. Of course, the present phase lane system within star systems would remain the same as it is now. Well, this issue doesn't only happen with star lines, it's happened with interplanetary connections as well.

Do you think it would be possible to have the icon of the item currently being researched blink? I know that the little icon has a progress bar at the top, but very often I will queue a whole lot of research, and then I'll come back and want to cancel the currently researching one in favor of another. The only issue is that it takes me forever to find the one that's in the process of being researched, but if the one being researched was a brighter color, of if it was blinking, or had a border ar

Also -- and I don't know is this effects anything -- I was able to load the game yesterday, and amidst my playing, I tabbed out and force-quit the program while on my desktop. This is when the issue started, and I've reinstalled the game 5 times now, the fifth time was installed on a completely different harddrive.

Changing ShowIntroMovies to FALSE did not fix the issue. I also tried setting it to start in a windowed mode which also did not work. Changing MULTISAMPLERATE also did not work. Everytime I launch the game I get a black screen which goes to a minidump. I never actually see the main menu, or anything for that matter. System Specs: nVidia GeForce 8600 -- Latest Drivers from nVidia Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8GHz 2 GB PC6400 DDR2 Ram Direct X 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904) I've installed the game on a separate HDD that has over 100GB of free memory. Any help / tips is greatly appreciated, I'd like to play the game!
