whoa..... still its the best browser ever better then the slow virus catching windows one! [e digicons][/e]
KillzEmAllGod
man i found this easy to get into and play but it crashs a bit and some auto saves fail
looking at the play count on impulse it stands at 63 with about an hr of play time other games number in the 20-30s kinda insane how many time it crashs with my net being capped for now it takes a good minute or two for it to start other wise it would take 10-30 seconds the game really starts to crash around 100 turns some of the auto saves even fail which can be greatly annoying. I know its going to be fixed but do we really have to wait a few weeks? [e digicons]:|[/e]
its basicly the alpha not really a beta yet... should be a "beta 3" and it would look nice to but they want to make sure multiplayer works and that the game is stable, having some one drop out randomly would be no fun now would it? its really up to stardock on how it gets done unless some one has a wmd pointed at they're hq.
es anybody else think it's odd when your sovereign's wife repeatedly gives birth when your sovereign hasn't been in his capital since turn 1?
You know its a game right? wouldn't take long to travel from the capital back to where u were in a year. we could come up with many ways of how it could have been done but its just part of the gameplay you want to have fun right?
has no one ever tried playing a TBS with there best mate?
seems that they have the tech but not the weapons in the game yet. so the next best thing to do is not waste time on it.
man i could never get gal civ 2 right. they put it that way so you couldn't just city spam to win, it doesn't seem to look like they have done it the right way to.
hmm... i'm sure i still got bump mapping on you might have the play around with the video settings a lot to get it right try not to worry to much because the game crashs a lot and with a slow internet speed it takes like 3 minutes to start. Capped atm :(
man i'm finding it great fun well at least thinking of how fun it will be later on when it doesn't crash and i can look at something else then brown dirt and dull pictures of mountains that are really flat. it has a nice take on the way the citys work now we only have to wait till it gets more content & polish, starcraft 2 is coming sooner but i'm sure this will be funner in the long run
The title of the pop up where you type in the child's name says "It's a boy" or "It's a girl"
doesn't say that for me i have to check the window where it shows the whole family then it says its a daughter or a son
the ai seems to like going to war with me and sending all its peasents to my towns to be cooked alive which is most funny but its really stupid. Game will crash randomly for me and most of the time the saves are screwed from the crash.
man i will probably end up playing a lot of single of this... but the real fun part will be playing with friends and maybe playing with them online with other people. This is more playable then gal civ 2 so far mainly because its fantasy. Multiplayer will add more life to the game the AI can only do so much so well and players can screw up or get lucky more often.
mini games would be nice for those people that take to long and might stop people from rage quiting as long as theres something to do while you wait... only when your waiting so you can't do it at the start of your turn now that would be well worth it. there was that card game in FFH2 (civ 4 mod) that you could play while your buddy was taking his whole time to move his workers and armys.
seems like they forgot to fix this while they were busy making the game more stable. why would you need more then 6 citys the ai is stupid as it is... with each build the game gets better lets hope they don't forget something major.
good to know that your hard at working, think you could add some colour to the cloth map because its kinda doll?
seems to be an issue with the lighting.. not just the above
when GFX: disable bump mapping, was turned on it was the thing that was screwing around with the graphics once turned off everything appears as it should be
almost the same thing happens to me but its all on the map white and my sovereign is just white whith some blue fuzz to one side not sure what it could be but i have 2 other computers i could try installing it on.
stardock has the numbers but not like there going to tell us because it might show the sales are weak but not many people preorder, i would have to say its my first perorder ever. [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
man got it yesterday.... even though my net is capped and i can't play online singleplayer was nice... then when my net was off peak today it was freaking fun online even though my kd was screwed better then codmw2
man only 10,000 how about at least a million since theres 6 billion people on the planet? i live in australia and i want it! [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
KillzEmAllGod, why would we WANT to keep large stacks out of Elemental? Should every tactical battle be a small engagement? Should a war be decided by a long string of tiny battles, or a handful of major ones?
Not saying they should keep large stacks out just saying who has the most of x powerful units would most likly win but we will see how its gets balanced over time.
its the beta so its not really done yet i could only see the ui and the map was all white and blue lines were where the Sovereign going to try reinstalling when my net isn't capped [e digicons]X([/e] the intro was epic best ever!
damn you guys being so mean.... won't even run on my computer as in well, getting a new one some time soon next month. i will never buy it on console.... man cod6 on pc was just a cheap port i want my money back for that.
