Don't knock it too hard, I've used a similar build without the artifacts with some success.
QoT, her minions are pretty powerful, with good passive upgrades, Mulch and the fact they that damage multiple targets. Minion is very viable with her. Sedna - Is the only really weak Minion build, mainly because Yetis are slow and cannot be controlled, cannot go through creeps with you. They need to be sped up a little or have collision detection removed. Possibly even give them a snare, to make them useful for Sedna.
Personally I find Sedna minion builds easie

I find it a bit surprising that minion damage is not affected by armor. DGs always seem to take way more damage from minions after being bitten by Erebus. Perhaps only Priest and possibly Siege Archer damage is not mitigated because it is a spell. Regardless, I don't think minions need to be changed. With max morale they do rediculous amounts of dps. It doesn't matter which general you pick, if you manage to get max morale with a full minion build your are going to hose your opponents
Well if you want to be sportsmanlike, you can either suicide your monks by sending them against a tower, or wait till they die before summoning the bishops.
Pantheon and skirmish games does do some experience rating comparison before setting up matches but if there aren't enough players in queue it will eventually just put them into a game. A few weeks back it would spend more time waiting for balanced games but that resulted in some very high ranked players waiting forever between games. My pantheon games tend to be me + a new player or low ranked player versus one high ranked player and one average ranked player.
I agree that Sedna Minion builds are very expensive. Fully geared cost about 20k. The early game is tough because you have to split gold between citadel upgrades, equipment and minions. Just to get rank 1 minions sets you back 2k in gold that could have gone to equipment. My favor item of choice is Amulet of Teleportation. I like ambusing people with my army of minions but this has also gotten me killed on occations when I end up getting double teamed. Depending on the map and
At level 10 with Mageslayer and Max Soul Power he could be dishing 400dps and that is not counting the damage of the spirits. Regulus and UB can also attain 400dps at level 10 with Mageslayer.
A full minion build Senna doesn't worry too much about most AoEs because her minions will have over 2k hp and over 30 hp/sec regen, the only AoE that really hoses her is an AoE Stun.
1. Pouce is good 2. Yetis are not awful. 3. Watching 4 Yetis demolish a UB while he tries to Foul Grasp you, priceless.
Interesting that Pantheon and Instant Action games are listed as being version 1.00.55 while custome games are versioin MAIN.1.01.0139
baalz, stop giving away leet general secrets. :P Minions are powerful enough as it is, god forbid they suddenly become FoTM and then nerfed.
I have the same problem with Senna trying to send minions to attack a demigod. After a while the minions stop and attack something else. It also seems like I can't focus fire minions either.
I had my cheap old mouse die on me in the middle of a demigod game which lead to and interesting scramble for an alternative before the otherside killed me. Miraculously, I didn't die. Anyhow, I ended up buying a MS Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 since it was 50% off. It took me a while to adjust to the new mouse. I ended up disabling a few of the features to turn it into a basic 3 button mouse + scroll wheel. That got me wondering what kind of mice other people use for gaming and what mouse butt
Not going to name any names but there is one oak player in particular that is really exploiting the idol exploit. Starts off buy buying Priest, selling and buying other two idols, gets enough money to buy the next rank before going back to buy them till he has a crazy army. Parasitic egg isn't a very effective solution here because by the time you raise the 5k he already has a huge army that makes targeting him a bitch. Also you need to know in advance that he is going to exploit and
Don't forget honey, I hear they make lots of it.
Zygwen, only if the player is a retard will he die to a minion build. That's not what it's for.
Then I must be playing against a lot of weaker players because only a handful of players give me trouble. You being one of the few. I only consider myself an above average player and expect that once more good players show up it will be harder to get kills. On the otherhand, I expect that in those situation they will either leave me alone
The main problem with ragequits is that if the host quits the game doesn't get recorded. So for those that win a lot of games but get a lot of rage quitters it can be frustrating because a lot of your wins never get recorded. I have no problem finishing a game even with unfair odds if I respect the opposing team. However, if the other side is insulting and may have purposefully ejected my teamate before the start of the game, I might be inclined to quit since I have better things to d
They are still working on proxy servers. Currently the only ones active are in the US. They need to implement the localization code that determines what the nearest proxy server is before they can enable the others. As for kicking you for high ping, currently they can't tell your ping in Pantheon and Skirmish games until the game has already started so they can't kick you. I've found that some people that had 200 to 400ms pings still manage to play Pantheon and SKirmish games without
Full minion spec Sedna can be quite effective at killing any demigod. Especially if you can jump them with a teleport while they are trying to capture one of your flags. The only real counters for this is Parasitic Egg, TB's and Erebus' aoe stuns.
Sometimes, parking your minions at a flag while you go back to the citadel for upgrades can be very effective at stopping the other side from taking the flag. Flag locking at the right time or on the right flags can also make a difference. Observe the teams that beat you and try to see what they did that your team didn't. Maybe they got gold and xp upgrades before you did and thus outleveled you or out upgraded you late game. Maybe they only held certain key flags early game t
Well, I live in Montreal, Quebec but my French isn't very good. I can understand it but can't speak or type it very well due to lack of practice. So probably not quite what you are looking for. I have encountered a good number of Canadians playing this game though. Good luck in your search.
That was not what I was expecting but way too cute. Good one.
Given the choice between 2v2 pantheon matches that successfully get started 75% of the time versus 3vs3 matches that get started 10% of the time, I rather they stick to 2v2 till they fix more of the problems with people getting connected to pantheon matches. Once things are fixed though, I'd like to see a mix of 2v2 up to 5v5 depending on number of people waiting in queue and stuff.
