Not to sound like a fanboy here, but Frogboy's AI work is the best I have ever seen in a game. He is rather skilled at it to say the least.
Lol, fanboy. Thats alright I'm a fanboy too then! [e digicons];)[/e]

I believe that like most spellcasters, channelers are just youths who find that they have a very rare talent, the ability to shape the world around them with something called "magic", and then spend the rest of their lives practicing this new skill. Maybe in academies of magic or a personal trainer or master who teaches them "the ways of the Magic" Personally I would say up until the cataclysm that the world was probably filled with channelers who made the world a better place, a
However, if you manage to slay an opponent's hero, then I don't see why your own hero couldn't just swap out whatever weapons/items they had with their dead counterpart's. After all, it shouldn't take a whole caravan to transport a single weapon, no matter how magical it may be.
Wow, yea I could definitely see this, artifact of ancient power scattered across the land and heroes are attempting to find and collect them all. I like this idea a lot!
I did this one just now, in case you're interested in a similar one.
Thank you so much! To tell you the truth I wouldn't know where to begin in doing this, however much I wish I did [e digicons];)[/e] May your days be long and prosperous O worthy channeler! The people of my nation will sing songs in your name! [e digicons]:-"[/e]
Finally, you can recruit enough heroes to your banner to complete a campaign called the Quest of Mastery."
Does this remind anyone of maybe something like Heroes of Might and Magic, where you have to go out and recover an artifact of immense power thats buried in the ground somewhere? Im thinking this, with a little tweaking would be pretty rocking! [e digicons][/e]
I still think it would be cool, but I dont really like the idea of a city rising up out of land due to a spell you cast.
I don't think the city just rises out of the ground because of a spell, I think the settlers still build it like in Civilization, but you have to imbue the land with power to make it "habitable" again after the cataclysm. At least this is what I have mustered from it all. I actually agree with you both, thinking that your idea is a neat one, Polistes&
I think that death is death, and to bring yourself back would be impossible. however why does this have to be the end of your game? I like the successor idea as well but I think your successor should be one of the heroes you have hired and imbued with whatever power you gave them, not a random character that just generates and the game says "your son has taken over the throne since your death, and has all the abilities and essences and mana you had." While you sit up in heaven and say "I had
Oh I see, Luckmann, stealing my profile pic idea, well... this shall not be tolerated, channeler! War against you and your people. You will rue the day you ever challenged Ragnarok and mine's might. We shall barrel down upon your cities, crush your people and their wills, and turn your land into the ash from which you raised it! For I am the Rising Legend, born of the Earth, Sea and Air, to do the will of the gods... Upon my dragon Ragnarok, none shall oppose me, lest they wish t
Stowe, I believe that I read somewhere that you can "hire" dragons, or convert them to fight for you and they will act much like heroes. Im thinking it would be neat to then ride your new dragon friend! A dragon and channeler together might just be unstoppable [e digicons][/e]
