Enjoy El Paso...if you respond, I'll guess you survived Sal's. I've spent a little time traveling to El Paso. The last time I was there, I asked about a good place to get a margarita. They sent me somewhere where they were called 'em "fishbowl" margaritas. I'd tell you where it was, but I can't remember... [e digicons]x_x[/e]
My son and I love COD4...I've had it for months, and it never seems to lose its playability! For his birthday, my son wanted (and received) a PS3 and COD4. He wants the screen name, "Cereal Killer." [e digicons][/e]
The shit kids have to put up with in school is horrible. No reasonable adult would submit to this sort of treatment at work, and no child should have to at school.
Ain't that the truth?.!
and the sad fact is that anything you do to try to alleviate the situation is only likely to make it worse.
Don't know that that is the truth?.! Not if the school is anywhere near worth its salt!
How did this all turn out, TW?
48 might be a lot of work.
The author of THIS survey was successful in doing so. My point is this...I could take any question and twist the wording in the question or the answer in such a way that you had to vote how I wanted you to vote to prove my point...which I'm NOT going to waste my time doing just as I quit wasting my time on this survey which was doing the same thing. I'm not opposed to doing surveys, and I've done quite a few...but not slanted,
He didn't say anything until yesterday because he was worried his daddy would tell him to ignore it and he would look like a wuss. Poor guy.
Gosh, this is so hard for boys...not knowing what to do...
If we can't nip this in the bud immediately, I AM interested in making a big HUGE deal out of it with the school.
As a former principal, I would've wanted to know what was happening. I would've sat down and talked with your son (1-o
Both of these parties have repeatedly divided us. We're no longer a team,
We seem to be in a "civil war" of words and actions between the republicans and democrats. Personally, I'm weary of all politicians and the political system as a whole.
Vote "None of the Above" in 2008.
[e digicons][/e] Sign me up!
I believe that I could construct a survey in which you might also vote 48 out of 48 against McCain...if I constructed the questions and answers just right. I don't believe this was an unbiased survey.
I could run 3-4 miles every night and nothing would happen weight wise.
Thanks for the tip...I was thinking (and I emphasize "thinking") about getting out for a run around the block (which wouldn't be anywhere near 3-4 miles); so if that isn't going to do it...I'll keep doing what I enjoy...snuggling my wife on the couch...which I've found is WAY more enjoyable than running!!! [e digicons][/e]
I'm beginning to wonder if we need a "redo" on the primaries and start over from scratch for this election!?.
Fourteen pounds and me are going to separate. Somehow, somewhere, and soon I hope...I figured out that I am only four pounds shy of my full-term pregnancy weight. How can that be?
If needing to drop 14 lbs. is the case...then I'M due any day now! [e digicons
Because not one of us could look God in the eye and honestly defend our own righteousness in front of a holy God.
Agreed... Not ONE of us. I want my children to be well-rounded, thoughtful individuals who offer grace to others...because they themselves will need grace not only from God, but from others in their lives! ...I do.
To me how you feel about abortion (which I believe is murder) explains in a visible way that verse you quoted from Christ.
Agreed.
Abortion, IMO, is a heart issue
Agreed. But so is slander; and according to Romans 1:29-31, so are "envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice"...as are "gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful"...as is "disobey[ing]...parents"...all of which are described as "senseless, faithless, heart
Let me know if this works, CharlesCS! [e digicons][/e] If anyone has any left over funds after bailing out CharlesCS, I could use "bail" money too!! [e digicons]:pout:[/e] ~SH80 [e digicons]B)[/e]
I really enjoyed Facing the Giants. I've watched it 3x with my family. The "death crawl" scene ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEv1FgT2OrI&feature=related ) is a great motivational scene...even if it was on a budget! We'll probably catch Fireproof on DVD. Another interesting movie on the subject is Saved! We watched it the other day with the kids and it provided fodder for discussion throughou
You are correct I don’t do enough but I still dabble a little.
Paladin77, I never stated you didn't do enough. In fact, I appreciate what you've accomplished, and I respect your service to our country even more so. When we bought a Wii, I bought my wife, Super Mario Bros. 3...she said it was the only game her bros. ever let her play. Personally, I loved Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Superbowl.
How about a "B-movie" on "B-movies?" My brother gave me "Amazon Women on the Moon" for Christmas last year as a joke...we must have watched it a couple of dozen times on HBO as teens.
Just curious, K...How did you do that? Are you using a particular software program? That looks like fun if you're bored...or sick! Now, get to feeling better.
Our political system is great but the people in it have corrupted it. Business is great but the people have corrupted it... The same with education. Uh, oh...I just realized I have an O.J. Simpson football card in my collection. What should I do? Am I safe? ~SH80 [e digicons]:andrew:[/e]
