When do you reckon you'll release that? And how old is the build we're playing now, I wonder?

Well, most are good, but some are noticable when the same icon from another tech is used, and the new one is more blurry. The Gas giant one is fine, but I would definately remove the green flag on it since it really stands out. If I figured out how to get to the actual icons myself I could tinker with it a bit, but I still haven't figured that bit out lol. Don't worry about it though, it's a polish thing but not ultimately that important until the very end. :D
Awesome, I did also notice a few icons for the research tree not looking as crisp as the original ones, more blurry like, is this something I can easily modify myself as I quite like to do icons :D
I thought so, I'm using: DS_v0.21R+FWSP-RG.7z
Is the TEC Rebel ability to call in Pirate reinforcement removed or is it a bug?
Come on Stardock, how can we play this Beta online now?
Now me and my friend is getting "Old Version Detected" when we try to play with the beta.
Looks good, happy you're working on the game still, because it's a damn fun game to play with your friends!
I actually agree about the moving Starbases, I do think they all should be able to move, and at different speeds is a decent trade, and if you feel it's still unfair, make it so they can't shoot while moving then. But let them move!
Me and a mate was playing a 2 vs 2. We was on the same team, and we was playing against 2 AI's. Now, at the start of the game, which I assume is because the AI hasn't spotted our location, they kep placing bounties on themselves, instead of on us who was the enemy. This made us both laugh out loud. They was on the same team.
Quoting ogoor, reply 7 btw. just out of curiosity, will you ever fix these 5 broken achievements? Achievements are the very last thing anybody should care about ever fixing.
Sure, actual gameplay issues are more important, but in a perfect world, all features in a game should work as intended.
Yay! Keep em coming!
I wish that when things do not go as planned, we would get told. One thing I learned from working with people and computers; Always tell them it's going to take longer than you really expect it to take, that way people get happy it's done faster than they thought it would be done. :P
Sweet, now it's getting closer to me starting to play it :D
I too miss a campaign and I really wish they would have informed me before I bought itdid you read any reviews? most of the official reviews state the lack of a campaign.
Well, when I bought it, there wasn't any reviews. I bought it back when we got the beta to play. So I didn't know there wouldn't be a campaign.
I'm 33, you ole dog you ;)
I agree with most everything the original poster said. I too miss a campaign and I really wish they would have informed me before I bought it. That being said it wasn't a great deal of cash anyway so I'm not all that bummed about it. What I'm bummed about is the fact it could have been such a sweet game already if it would have had a campaign, it's the way I prefer to play a game. And for the graphics, they could be a lot better with more modular composition. The conclusion any
This is not a single player campaign gameThis is like complaining about the story of UT3 (or UT2004) .The game designed for online gaming .
He did in fact not complain about a single player campaign (Lords know where you came up with that idea). The talk was of the end sequence.
I always think that the longer a game takes to finish, the more spectacular the end sequence needs to be. I remember when I finished UFO: Afterlight (Great fun game) which took hours and hours to finish, and was great fun doing so, ended with a rather dull scene that just reflected that Mars was now terraformed. I was hoping it would also show my allies there with me as well, if I had them.
Uhm, don't know what happened there. At first my post didn't show up so I posted it again. And now there's two. My apologies.
I understand what you're saying. I'm too an "older" player. I can partly agree to what you're saying but there's also another explanation as to why games don't feel as special anymore as they did back then. We've seen most things already. I think it's hard to create such a masterpiece that we will all sit down in wonder. It would of course be possible, but I think it would require a whole lot of development time to get it as full of depth as we would wish it to have. Another re

Thanks, all in due time I guess :) I had hoped there was a date set for this but he who waits...
Hi again, It's been a while since I posted and I basically came back to see if there's been any major updates yet. Yes you probably guessed it, I'm mostly waiting for the campaign and also some enhanced graphics updates. So, basically, my question is: Are there any news on when we will get either of these? PS. I'd prefer it if any comments saying that they want or don't want a campaign simply didn't post at all here. DS.
Don't think of it as research, think of it as training bright young officers to command those extra ships. Think of it as researching new training techniques.
Nope, I still can't make any sense to it. In my opinion it should be related to the amount of people you have available. That's it really. But, since it has to be scaled down to retain a playable level, it should be scaled down a lot. However, I still think it should be related to the amount of planets you
