I like to set the difficulty setting for the AI, just that the factions be randomized.

I think Stardock's beta process is part of the problem. Just to reuse the car analogy that some people used in the earlier pages, they tested the engine, the doors, the windows, the steering wheel and all that jazz separately but never had the entire car being beta tested at the same time. It seems that a lot of what broke happened when the various things were put together.
I like being able to set the difficulty of AI factions individually. Compared to games like Civ, it changes the dynamic of the game to have some AI factions be better than others. However, I can't seem to find a way to have an AI choose a random faction. I don't like having to choose which specific factions I'm going to go against at the start of the game.
1. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor on the DS 2. WoW - raid with my guild on live, Cataclysm beta when not. Sadly, the Cataclysm beta is already way more fun than most games out there, even though lots of features and stuff are still missing. They've been slowly adding new quests and stuff. On

We're starting in on boxed orders now, back to the oldest (download-only orders should all be processed now).
Doh. My pre-order is box + download. Oh well, can wait a few minutes more before having to go to sleep.
Well, PC game prices have been stagnant at the $49.99 price point for at least 10 years. Even with the recent price increase of console games to $60, console prices are still actually cheaper compared to the cartridge days. Remember, Nintendo used to charge 3rd party publishers $35 for a cartridge during the NES/SNES days. That pushed retail to around $70 on occasion. Honestly, I don't see why prices have to standardized. I think Torchlight had the right idea. Casual games don't have
So what's the timeline of the story between the game's campaign mode, the book and the bonus campaign for the book buyers that will be released later? Game -> book -> bonus or book -> game -> bonus or something else?
I hated Dragon Age's DLCs. Seems like a complete ripoff. The additional gameplay hours was so low compared to the price that it was obviously a side quest that was removed from the core game. Civ 5's are just as bad, too.
I take it gold means those of us with the download version can start pre-downloading? Or soon thereafter?

Starcraft 2, loved it, played it, finished it in about 5 days of VERY casual play, was just wayyy to easy. SC2 had a good little story, but the single player game was just wayyy to short and the multiplayer doesnt interest me, to much of a clickfest. I still play MoM today, looking forward to Elemental, pre-ordered it over a month ago. You'r
I remember researching for a new Nvidia card a month or two ago. I was wondering whether to get a 230 or 320. Apparently, the first digit is the generation or something number and the second one is the model number. So, the 230 is better supposedly.
That a mod is thin-skinned and ban-happy? I don't find it hard to believe at all. I've seen it. Admittedly, there's a lot of jerkassery goes on which deserves banning, but in some cases the mods abuse their positions. Or they or their employers decide the forum in question is going to be squeaky-clean and ban anyone who expresses an opinion. Or the forum
I echo everybody saying an X-Com type game. The new one being a shooter made me sad.
Ahha, found it! $5 million? I would love to have that kind of money to do a game. Elemental's budget is about half that and that includes the cost of developing its custom 3D engine. https://forums.elementalgame.com/389038/page/2/#replies reply #47. So let's say 2.5 million, including development of the engine from scratch (which AFAIK began before Elemental was a game, since the engine

If you don't have a dual core or better its time to either upgrade or stop calling yourself a gamer. Civ5's specs might be modest in relation to contempory games of other genres. But for the game of Civilization, those specs are awfully hi
