Bug - if you go into overhead build mode, click on another city, then click out of cities you remain in overhead view. You can manually reposition the view, but I figure this isn't meant to happen.
In another post I read that outposts should be captureable and allow a garrison force. If that gets implemented I think this would be a good balance. IMHO the maintenance is the cost of the troops you use to garrison them. But I also think they should be influence flippable by cities of opposing factions.
I'd like to be able trade outpost ownership too. and them being c
3. Buildings: if you build something like a tavern or adventurers guild, let us use it to directly hire a randomchampion. For a cost of say 100 gildar, you get offered a random Champion. You would still need to pay to hire them, but this would give you a chance to get Champions for a sufficient investment. This would onlyswirl if Champions had a maintenance cost, which is needed, otherwise you could just spam hire them.
I m

Another way might be the city level up improvement of the infirmary, over several (I'm thinking 10+ per injury) turns it could slowly remove injuries from champions garrisoned in the city. A life spell that removed an injury at high mana cost could also be cool. Death would probably want the same thing, as healing is not equal to damaging, though it wouldn't really fit with the feel... unless you had to sacrifice another unit to remove the injury with a lower mana cost for the death s

Movement is especially good as AIs don't seem to utilise it to the same degree, and monsters also tend to have low movement making "run and gun" (or spell) a valid way to take down monsters that would otherwise be far out of your league. I recommend it for dealing with early game bone ogres - until nerfed anyhow. But yes - I think higher base movement, with fewer bonuses to movement combined with more movement-penalizing terrain would be worth investigating.

After my first game (so hardly a huge amount of data) I've got a couple of bugs to report. I'll try to detail them as best I can. All of these events occurred in .77, though the game was created in an older build. I'm not sure how much impact that would have though. - Chance to recruit a slaver kept firing. In the kidnapped girl quest, with the chance to recruit the slaver. If I recruit the slaver and kill the other slavers, when I r

I finished my first game of Fallen Enchantress last night; it was rather fun - climatic, nail bitingly close fight for the Sceptre of Dominion ended in my victory. So, I've got a few things I felt as of this first game. The exploring feels much better than WoM; the Elemental Lords and their regions are really cool. I only played on normal to begin with, as I'm not that good at 4x games, and I wasn't sure how much had changed, and I&#39

I think the idea that was mentioned above to give equipment special abilities, such as: Pike - always get first hit on mounted units in melee Heavy Armour - Reduces ranged weapon accuracy Hammer - Ignores 33% of armour stat Crossbow - Requires 3 action points to attack with (I live in hope for a greater variety of side-graded weapons) That sort of thing could go some way to helping. These abilities could then be prominently

I've had some crashes as well. Every time I load a game I get a crash to desktop, and I'm getting a few seemingly random crashes to desktop as well, the turn after conquering a city followed by completed research. Here's my debug.err in a pastebin. Hope it helps. http://pastebin.ca/1923802
