Sandbox would be when you press 'new game' or 'metaverse' as opposed to 'campaign' on the main title screen. You raise a good point though, I suppose the custom maps and scenarios could also be called 'NON-sandbox' games. And pndrev, as long as you had fun with your game, you haven't let us down!

It's a feature. The Yor super ability is called Super Isolationist, and does exactly that, slowing foreign ships to a max of 3 pc/turn in their sphere of influence. Further notes: Of course a custom race could have the same super ability. Also, it lets the race start of with Barren World Colonization.

Earliest submitted 4-year game? I thought it would have a shot at winning fastest game, but the 3-year is just... wow. Re-edit: Whoo, it works!

I tend to blast Ride of the Valkyries on max volume while watching my fleets and soldiers rip the enemy to shreds. ...or actually, I don't, it just seemed like a cool thing to say. What music is currently running doesn't really depend on what I'm doing/what game I'm playing. I either just put every song I have in randomized order, or play an album I haven't heard in a while or I just plain feel like playing. Movies... I don't watch them. If I wanted plots, I'd play an RPG!

I'm not an authority on the all-lab strat, but I'm pretty good at all-factories. Anyway, on to my opinions, which aren't neccesarily good answers: I guess you could upgrade your space miner into another colony ship. I usually make every world that becomes PQ18+ after all terraforming techs are researched, as well as every civ capital. Exceptions include if they have precursor mines or several other bonus tiles, or a manufacturing capital built by the original owner. This is pro

You know, ingrammatical use of doubling the comparative form of the adjective, for emphasis and hilarity. That's funny, I actually wound up winning the last game in the league format with an alignment tendency of 82.

So, not sure if there's a formal type of way to report bugs, but here goes: Auto attack is fairly wonky at times, which is very annoying for a player like me, who doesn't like microing too much. First of all, often when they destroy a mini-freighter but that doesn't kill the trade route, they'll all home in on the planet and freeze, until the mini-freighter respawns again (which will usually take 1 or 2 turns), decreasing their effectiveness significantly. The second, bigger problem wit

Whoa, *seven* opponents! That's, like... TWICE as many as I usually play on small! And with tight clusters and only common planets/habitables, there'll likely be less planets than I'm used to as well. And no major cash flow from anomalies either... seems like a challenge! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/

Regarding Courage: I believe the description is dead wrong; the debug file refers to a courage bonus in ship combat, and I believe that I read somewhere that it will give a ship with lower attack/power a boost. As for my preferences, they seem rather standard, though of course, there are many factors. I think most that can be said for DL has been said, but I'll add that Drath with maxed Economics and PopGrowth, Universalist party, are awesome. Morale seems to have less impact in DL than
