I never had crashes before 1.07, but after starting a new sandbox game it has happened three times now and I have barely started, maybe 100 turns in. It is all related to the tactical battles versus Creatures, either initializing or during, apart from that I don't see any relation. The latest one happened just after capturing an independent City and then entering tactical battle versus nearby Spiders. It Autosaved just prior, reloading and fighting again results in no crash, go figu
Great post and some well reasoned thoughts; it isn't too long at all. I agree with almost all of it except: 1. Loot is fine IMO. 16. Never been short of materials in any of my games. Metal and crystal yes, but never materials. 25. I agree some sort of exchange market would be ideal for resources ala HoMM, however I really like the shortage/absence for gameplay. 31. Like a ZOC? Tactical battles do need some love. Funny, I love the wilds
I was in the same boat intially, went to EB Games, BestBuy, Futureshop and even Walmart - no luck and no one knew diddly. So I downloaded it and now I am playing, woohoo.
