I'd like to suggest Guildmasters instead of Guildsmen. Guildsmen sounds far too civil for the Empire. [e digicons];P[/e]

So far, I'm liking how 1z doesn't cause spontaneous hemorrhaging like 1g did. [e digicons]o_O[/e] Thanks for the funky update. [e digicons];P[/e]
Thanks for the walkthru. It's clearing up a lot of the game concepts for me. [e digicons][/e] PS. Bring back the 8 bit looking map!
Don't worry guys, it'll be worth the wait. [e digicons][/e] I hope everyone has a nice, relaxing Easter break.
Windows 7 anecdote: I have a friend who works at Best Buy's 'Geek Squad'. To quote him exactly, "Windows 7 is the single worst thing to happen to Geek Squad. It actually works." Since Windows 7 has been release, his weekly hours have been cut by 1/3rd due to dropping demand for tech support. [e digicons];P[/e] I think that says something about the quality of Windows 7.
I've been reading Civ 5 previews and taking some notes on the new features Fraxis is adding to it. I'm going to post them, along with a few of my thoughts, to hopefully get some discussion going on the usefulness of these features with regard to Elemental. Remember, even if my ideas aren't any good, a catalyzed spark from someone else might be. This is a lo

It's really fun to see the game and mod tools slowly coming together. [e digicons]:)[/e]
I think ATi is going to be drinking Nvidia's milkshake this year. [e digicons]o_O[/e] Nvidia's new cards aren't much faster than ATi's 6 month old GPU's. Nvidia's cards also cost more, consume more power, run hotter and have a lot bigger die size coupled with lower yields, which will limit how much Nvidia can lower prices. To top all that off, ATi will have its' next gen GPU's ready to go in Q4.
I'm curious to see how having global resources, a trait usually reserved for RTS games, will handle in a TBS game. The direction the game is taking in this post sounds very enticing though. I look forward to testing it.

I was wondering how production of resources is going to work in Elemental, as it relates to land/sea tiles. What I mean by that in Civilization terms is, how are “food, shields and gold” created. I don't quite understand if the land tiles have an inherent capability to produce food, shields and gold; like in Civilization. Or if Elemental is going a different route, in which the land has no inherent value, unless it ha

Here's the link to the Elemental beta schedule: https://forums.elementalgame.com/363845 I think it'll clear up a lot of questions if people take a look at it. [e digicons][/e]
Tor'in Irewrath - Dwarf Cleric The party Tor'in was adventuring with was compose of a stalwart figher, a coercive warlock, an agile ranger, and a tactical sword-mage. They were referred to as "Dragon Slayers United" or 'DSU'. On this adventure the members of DSU started off in a town and were soon tasked with a quest to recover a bauble that had been stolen by goblins. It seemed this bauble was the key to a summoning ritual that would release a gre
