I saw you mentioned Dark Horizons: Lore Invasion, I just thought I would mention that MaxGaming (the developers) are now giving away the game at GarageGames for FREE. http://www.garagegames.com/products/29/ The reason they are giving it away for free is that they are working on the next version of this great multi-player mech game. I bring this good news as a player and not anyone affiliated with GG or MaxGaming (Even though I used to work at GG before it was bought ou

I had the same problem... except luckily I had a copy of the authorization card that comes with the CD. (I had a copy of the original Uplink game).

Everyone keeps saying that you can redownload the games that you had during your subscription even after your subscription runs out. This is just not true for some of us. After my subscription ran out, I had a new laptop that I wanted to put a few of the games on and I attempted to download them and each time it asked me to purchase them. I have since resubscribed, but it was very disheartening to find out that I COULD NOT REDOWNLOAD games after my

I definately agree about the final analysis. But it was interesting to see that before these debates began. People thought that the President would do better on the first debate because it was on foreign policy. And that he would do worse on the last debate because it was on the economy. But suprisingly enought, it was the other way around. The President seemed more confident and definitive in his answers and Kerry seemed to just say "I've got a pl

Why would I retract it when your own candidate (Edwards) called EVERY SINGLE PERSON who votes for Bush has lost their mind and is essentially an idiot. There are many people in this nation that need to get thicker skin. And I don't mention the stuff that the republicans do because there are plenty of other posts that take care of that.

People who think the draft will happen forget that it is only through the Congress a draft can be instituted, (not through the executive branch). And over the past two years, three draft legislations were brought up, (two by democratic congressmen and one by a republican congressman). All three times they were handidly defeated. Plus, even if a draft bill would start to gain steam, then it would be killed by the filibuster rule. Because there is no

Yes, I stand against anyone who uses violence. My next statement really comes from my years overseas (outside the US). I believe the United States is no longer a two party country. The quicker we get away from a two party system, the better our country will be. If you want I can start another blog about how I think the US will be better both govermentally and economically as a multi-party nation, I can do that. I guess I started t

Here are the links... I thought people would be curious enough to look for them. But then again... this world has just relied on the media to tell them what to think: The swastika story: http://www.channel3000.com/politics/3776992/detail.html The voter registration: http://www.columbusdispatch.com/election/election-local.php?story=dispatch/2004/10/01/20041001-D1-00.html The Washington State breakin: http://www.komotv.com/st

It seems every day when I logon to the internet to read about what has been happening in the world. I seem to always be confronted by a story about what some crazy democrate activist has done. But I never read these on mainline press sites, it seems to only make it onto local press sites. It got so bad, that I started to keep a log: A swastika was burned i

Now I realize that many of my blogs have to do with the political realm, but my true passion was revived again last night. I know that many people were tuned into this. Any many people have diverse views about the different sides... Yes, I'm talking about the RED SOX.... They crushed Anaheim. PLUS...The Yankees got shut down by the Twins. How much mor

This is the democrates tactic: http://www.democrats.org/debates/index.html They want all democrates to vote in every poll, even if they didn't even see the debate. If you go to the Philly newspaper website, there is no way that with over 35,000 people voting that only 300 thought that Cheaney won. That's 99% for Edwards and 1% for Cheaney. Talk about screwing up the polls. Plus on the Chris Matthews Hardball poll. Right

It will now be interesting to see if any of the six major news avenues pick this up (ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX/CNN/BBC)? Something deep down makes me think it will take a lot more than just a CNSNews article to get the mainstream press looking into this report. If it is true, this could be a pretty convincing argument that even Kerry won't be able to get around. If it turns out that there were WMD, then Kerry seems to have lost his stance on the wh

I found this link when follows up on the other article that points out that now one of the New Jersey Senetors is getting involved. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/10/4/111256.shtml My wife is also an English teacher and she has taught the Declaration of Independance as part of an English lesson. Many times in the middle school English/Civics/History are taught as a part of overlapping education topics. (Though she's not su

A Bush supporter had his front lawn vadalized by people who stole his "Bush-Cheney" signs and burned an 8 foot x 8 foot swastika into the man's front lawn. I guess only supporters of John Kerry are allowed to have signs in their front yard. Bush supporters seem to be getting their lawns vadalized...but then again, who cares about laws, rules and the truth

I'm going to start out with the link for my little rant. That way you all can see my frustration with the Democratic Party. This is from ABC: http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/news/WABC_100304_middleschoolteacher.html A middle school teacher in New Jersey was told "You have caused more disruption to this school and to these students with your partisanship and yo

On the heels of the CBSNews document forgeries, Dan Rather and CBSNews are trying to pull another one over on the American public. CBSNews and Dan Rather have started reporting that under a reelected Bush gov't, there will most likely be a draft, but under a Kerry gov't there won't be a draft. Did CBSNews and Dan Rather decide they no longer care about facts???

It seem that hundreds of Republican voters have now been disenfranchised in the state of Florida because of some Democrats-only voter registrations that have been taking place. This new disenfranchisement in Florida is now being investigated by the state's Election Division and the US Justice. This all happened when one of the Democratic Party fundraising or

It amazes me about how quickly people will just accept whatever the media says they should believe. The following statements come from my own personal experience. In the early 90's, I worked in northern Iraq with the Kurdish refugees. I had to deal with Sadaam's people on almost a daily basis. You say: " The ONLY REASON terrorists are killing Americans and the Iraqie people today is because George W. Bush invaded IRAQ! There was No terrori
