Here is a little follow up on this post. I still believe that Stardock should start investing time and effort to support Mac and Linux. In an interesting blog post Jacob Barkdull shows that Linux users were willing to pay up to 107% more on average than Windows users for the pay-whatever-you-want Humble Bundle #2 . I must say that I was part of them.<
That was close. The CD key is slightly blurred and there is too much light for it to be readable even in 780p on youtube. You guys should be carefull though [e digicons]B)[/e] .

Thanks. I did not know about those sites. I've just tried cheapassgamer and it was down [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] . I'll have a look later.
If you want to buy your games on sale, here is a tip for you. Have a look at Blue's News "On Sale" topics once in a while. It looks like this thread . It usually runs at least once a week and it includes sales from most online distribution platforms. This is what I've been doing for a while. I managed to get most of the game I wanted for sale. I gave this tip to one of my friend recently. I
I pre-ordered it, but sadly I have come to a decision not to support Activision-Blizzard anymore. The first nail in the coffin was when they decided to split the game into 3 full priced games instead of 1 game and 3-4 expansions. Second nail was not having actual LAN support that doesn't require a battlenet connection. Third nail was region play. Fourth was taking over the eSport of SC so they could suck profits from every aspect of it. Final n
Starcraft 2 has just been released worldwide. With its' strong predecessor's success, do you think it will attract as many people? Are you planning on buying it? I was selected as part of the beta and I only completed one game. I will not be buying it. I think I am too old for this. No matter how I try, I know I will never compete for the top spots. The RTS genre is less attractive to me today than it was back in the Starcraft days. That's just me. What do you think?

I like Bioware. I liked Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Remember one thing:
Good artists copy. Great artists steal.
For me, gameplay trumps graphics. However, for most people, the first impression their will get from a game is its' graphics. It is probably the great factor that sells them the game. It is no wonder why game studios go crazy about them. By the way, I am currently highly enjoying X-COM: Apocalypse even if its' graphics are ugly as hell by today's standards.
Remember also that SD is quite small and low-budget. Might be a bit of a strain on them to do the conversion without a significant enough increase in profit. Remember games like Civ4 are so well known that many Mac users would immediately snap up a copy. I doubt the majority of Mac users are avid SD followers.
I doubt the majority of Mac users are avid indie games followers. However
Lots of ind
Hello, As much as I would like Elemental to be available on Mac and Linux, I know there is little to no chance of seeing it on those platforms. Looking at Stardock, you can easily figure out that they have invested most if not all of their efforts in Windows, .NET and DirectX which make their softwares a de facto single platform. With all their Windows tools, they probably have some guys that know the windows API, tweaks and hacks as much as those who created them in Redmond.
