Double post for the sake of ANIMATION :D Used making APNG editor, it is technically a .png and just under 400 KB... too bad the limit is 40. Oh well :(

Off topic, I do remember that episode of TNG but why is Q wearing a guy fawkes mask? Was that in the episode? That much I don't remember :( Back on topic; Nesrie, you have actual numbers to back yourself up there? And if males take up the largest percent of the gaming market, they're the majority! :O I probably am wrong with white males, but if you say males in the 17 to whatever age range, they would probably make up the majority. And don't show how ma

Yes put the facepalm/double facepalm lets you know you (or whoever/whatever) failed without using words. and there are thousands of epic fail demotivational posters on the internet, most of which I've seen

Oh woops I'm really stupid. Thought he said his budget was $500, not $1500 . Yay stupidity! I would suggest http://www.ibuypower.com/ if you want to pick and choose your parts, but have it be built for you. I think Yarlen (Stardock employee) buys his computers from there. It's still more expensive then buying all the parts and then building it yourself, but you're paying for labor. Plus it's cheaper than any Dell or other brand you'll find

Why hire someone to make the trailer? The Demigod trailer kicked ass and was all ingame :D But yeah TOR trailer also kicks ass. Another good company is pastic wax, they did the trailer for Dawn of War II, the trailer for Space Marine, and worked on Transformers: RotF (the game) and Ghostbusters (the game)

I've seen "budget" PCs that have 4870s in them. No need to buy a 256 MB card (and you don't have to buy nvidia. ATI and Nvidia both have cards that perform pretty similar, just buy what is cheaper). But go for nvidia 8000 series, nvidia 200 series or ATI 4000 series. All those cards will last you awhile and be able to play games high - highest. And it's always cheaper to build your own PC. Good luck getting a $500 gaming PC from Dell >.> And

In all honesty, a few sales aren't going to hurt, and buying a game based on if the steam overlay works with it or not is really sad . Yes changing the hotkey would be useful, but if you want to use the steam overlay so much why not change it's hot key ? Which you can do.

I don't know if this has been talked about at all but what about fortifications? Can we build any, thus giving our troops a tactical advantage in battles? Or might it be like Fire Emblem, where depending on what type of square your unit is on you get a bonus?

Homicidal only got 11 votes? :( And about that last question, I don't think there is going to be a collector's edition, just an expensive limited. More chances of it coming with the book then (thank Annatar/Yarlen for that information)

I use the steam overlay with Sins sometimes. Stardock doesn't have any obligation to make it work with the steam overlay, and if it doesn't work, so what? Anyways you have a 95% chance of it working with elemental, other stardock games do. EDIT: I forgot to mention this but I do think Impulse is getting an instant messaging system in it's next big update, which I think is going to be at the same time the Elemental beta starts. So you could just us

Looking at his site, he's also doing the music for Jumpgate Evolution and got signed on to Elemental in February [e digicons]:D[/e]

The music in sins was very very good, but I think that that was done on Ironclad's end, not Stardock's

Try gettind Driver. It's fun to watch cops bounce off pavement and never come back down :P

I'd really like to see something like the Total War series has done. Nice, not very noticable, but pleasing music in the background while nothing is really going on. But once the action starts, then music needs to get epic (E:TW failed with the epic music, it had like one battle song). Let's hope stardock can afford an orchestra this time :P Anyways, Ynglaur, I love Oblivions music. Especially the main theme. What do you think is wrong with it D:

When elemental was first announced I assumed it would be alot like Galatic Civ and was sorta turned off by that. Since then I've read up on the news and gotten really pumped for Elemental. I preordred today and am now stalking the forums. I can't wait for PAX :) I love being in Stardock betas, they're always so fun (I was in the Sins and Demigod betas)

Well there's two sides to this coind nOObonian. The opening cinematic/trailers can be AMAZING but the game could end up sucking (it won't happen because it's Stardock, but it does happen). It's sorta like how the trailers for the Star Wars PT were always better than the actual movie
